Gutter Repair and Replacement
I hired Eugene Owens home improvement to replace a gutter on the back of my house. The gutter was replaced, and the existing gutter guards were replaced after the gutter was installed. Several months later, I noticed that the gutter guards had warped in several places and had lifted the shingles off the edge of the roof. I called and requested they return to my home to inspect/deal with the issue. I spoke to the owner's wife, followed up with a telephone message on the answering machine, and received no response. In the end it cost me an extra $100 to have a roofer come out and remove the gutter guards. I was advised by the roofer that when the guards were replaced, several were incorrectly installed, causing the warping and damage to my shingles/roof. Sent a copy of the check I issued to the roofer with a note, and still no response. Next time I'll hire a contractor that stands behind their work.
