Hired to build our new house. After four months of planing and delaying price discussion Sunny Day finally submitted the budget at almost 2X the original bid. It was a complete BATE AND SWITCH. Shifted the plan then to remodel an existing house. Two months of that planning, Sunny Day then submitted a price estimate almost at the same price as building the new house. 7 mos. later we are now scrambling to find our own trades while serving as our own GC. These folks are great at talking and being friendly, but be aware, expect the final numbers to be MUCH, MUCH higher than they led you to believe. Then they know you are stuck with them and have no choice.
