We got four estimates and this was the best price by far--so much  lower than others that we asked them to add several more trees to the list.  We only  wanted the trees cut and laid on the ground--we're taking care of the clean-up ourselves. We had about a two-week wait time for the service, which was as good or better than any of the other offers.  Our only complaint was that it was difficult to get hold of them to confirm a date (this is just a 2-person operation and they're up in trees or operating chainsaws all day long so that's understandable) and they didn't show up on the original date we expected them, but they were right on time when we were able to reschedule. The trees to be cut were in a heavily wooded area and close to the house.  There were also a big blueberry bush and lots of native azaleas to consider, so they had their work cut out for them.  These guys got right to work, knew where they wanted the trees to fall,  and laid every tree down exactly where they planned and in a  speedy manner.  They charged us exactly what they'd estimated, even though the job took a little more time (not too much, though)  than they had expected.  These two men worked together like a well-oiled machine, clearly knew what they were doing, and were professional in every way. We'd hire them again in a second.
