Appalachian Chimney Sweep

Excellent, friendly, punctual service.

Michael Imler and his team member always do an incredible job! We had them out to install our woodstove a few years ago, and they did an excellent job. I was a little behind on getting the chimney cleaned and it became clogged. I called and they came out within the week. They were here early, worked fast and efficiently, and cleaned up everything very nicely. They are very reliable and dependable and do a wonderful job!!!

Mike was very helpful at all stages of the process. He answered all questions knowledgeably and offered several references before I hired him.  His references all checked out.  We scheduled the work to occur on one Saturday,  but had to reschedule because of torrential rains forecast for that day.  We  rescheduled for about two weeks later.  (That was fine with me because I had to meet him at my vacation home to be there when the work was done, and I needed to plan it in advance).  

He arrived on time, and  did everything he said he would do, and kept the area very clean while he was working.  After he left, I noticed one small thing that had been overlooked, and I called him about it. He came by back my house later, after his next job was finished, and took care of that as well.   

Since he sealed the chimney a month ago, I've had no more water coming into my house through the rock.  I am very relieved to have this problem resolved.    I really appreciated Chris's direct and reliable approach. 

Mike and his assistance did an excellent job during all three visits to our home. He showed us what he was doing when he installed the chimney liner, they cleaned up after they were done, and we have enjoyed our wood stove without worry.

Our scheduled appointment was for 9am. Mike arrived at 8:30. We just bought our house and were told our chimney had been swept. After the small fire we had in our stove pipe we immediately called Appalachian Chimney Sweep. Not only had our chimney not been swept, our stove pipe wasn't even up to regulations. He swept the chimney and replaced the pipe. I would highly recommend his services to any one.

Two guys arrived exactly on time. At first I thought they looked a little and quot;roughand quot; on the exterior, but were both very courteous and extremely efficient. They cleaned both the fireplace and wood stove pipes, and then cleaned up after themselves. They left no mess at all. Afterwards the main guy answered a couple questions I had about wood-burning stoves. He recommended putting one in the basement that would provide enough heat for the whole house. I would highly recommend their services, and felt that the pricing was more than reasonable.
