Vx3 Trail Rides

My friend had scheduled a three-hour trail ride with Vx3 Trail rides, owner Tim Vines for 9:30 am. We met Tim, and his helper TJ, at Moses Cone Park in Blowing Rock NC and they were waiting for us when we arrived with the horses saddled and ready to go. The saddles and bridles used were high quality and the horses looked extremely healthy and calm. This was only my second time on horseback and I was quite anxious. Tim gave me plenty if time to get used to the horse before helping me mount. He provided a lot of instruction and helped me get control of my fear. By the time we were finished riding, with at least three stops to rest and each time helping me mount and dismount the horse, I had actually learned to ride the horse holding the reins in one hand while it was trotting. The scenery was breathtaking, and Tim and TJ were very professional, ensuring our safety the entire time. The horses were very well trained and remained unfazed by two barking dogs.
