Jerry has been our household's mechanic, except for a few forays into the dealer for recalls and updates, for 30 years. He's unfailingly cheerful, and really knows his stuff. He is always mindful of our budget, and checks with us if a repair is going to be expensive.
In this instance, my theft deterrent system was malfunctioning, and my car would not start. He locked all the doors and unlocked all the doors, and it started! He didn't charge a thing.

Mark is very personable and professional. He's only been our mechanic for a couple of years, and sometimes the work is assigned to another mechanic (that review to come). When he replaced the lines, he held off on replacing the calipers, being respective of our budgetary constraints. I drove the car home, and commented to my husband that it seemed you had to pump the brakes to get them to work correctly. He drove it, and immediately returned to the shop. Mark installed the calipers, and the brake problem was solved.
