Window Treatment Service
We had numerous problems throughout the process. The master bedroom draperies were installed several weeks after the estimated completion date. The installer (a subcontractor) was sloppy, left a mess in the bedroom, and the draperies wrinkled and 6" too long. After repeated emails, and with the help of the decorator who recommended the company, the contractor took the draperies back to her studio to be shortened. On the second try, they turned out fine. However, the fabric for the second bedroom took several months to arrive--and then several weeks for the company to fabricate them. During this period, the owner was very difficult to reach. Often, my emails went unanswered and I had no idea of where the fabric was or when the draperies would be completed. They were finally installed in early March. Then, when we got the bill, we saw that an additional $449 had been added to the price in our signed contract. We were told this was for the sales tax which had been typed in as $0.00 in our contract. We refused to pay the additional amount and after several heated discussions, we were told that we wouldn't have to pay.
