My husband and I are extremely pleased with Paul's workmanship, as well as that of Maya and the others who worked on our project. They turned our open uncovered deck into a beautiful 4-season sunroom and full bath. Even working in cold and rainy winter conditions, they still made rapid progress on building our new rooms. Any questions or issues we had were addressed immediately, and they cleaned up thoroughly every day when they were done working. We would definitely hire Ragan Construction for any future projects.

Mr. Ragan came to my house to give me an estimate. He took measurements and notes. He said he'd send me a written estimate. Received it via text. A couple of days later, I told him I accepted his bid, and would he call me. We spoke on the phone, and made arrangements for him to write up a contract for me to sign. On the day he was supposed to bring me the contract he sent me a text saying he wasn't going to do the job, got a bigger one and he was starting tomorrow. So, Mr. Ragan's word means nothing. Don't count on him to do your job unless he doesn't have anything better to choose from.

"This client, after meeting wanted me to do a piecemeal job on her bathroom in her mobile home.. Where I informed her that I do not do lot do things like that. She then told me I would not be doing it at my direction & I would be doing it at her direction. She then later informed me that she wanted to do job correctly and wanted a quote from me. I texted her a quote to do job correctly. I gave her a plumber's contact information. She gave my plumber a brow beating on his appointment time, after speaking to my colleague I politely informed her that I did not have a contract with her & I was no longer to do her job. Her demeanor was very aggressive throughout this process& I was threatened with a terrible review."

To use the old saying, "Paul goes the extra mile," is an understatement. Paul goes an extra two miles. Paul Ragan is a friendly professional. Paul does not believe in short cuts. The job took a few of days which was agreed upon and reasonable. Something you don't see from many contractors is that each and every end of the work day he cleaned the jobsite. On my job Paul worked with his son Brandon, also a true friendly professional. A question always asked is, would you hire Paul again, without a doubt. Paul and Casey were great! The fair price was so worth the skill level and professionalism provided. My once fading dinky bathroom looks beautiful now as promised. Paul was patient, supportive and educational during some difficult choices. He was true to his word about timelines, costs etc.. I absolutely recommend this team.

The work went very smoothly, except for some unavoidable delays caused by wintry weather. Paul and his assistant, Casey, were hard-working, courteous and prompt. They performed the work as quickly as could be expected and I am still amazed at how wonderful the room looks now.

We added a new deck and storage room in a very difficult location Paul Ragan lead the whole process from start to finish. He was instrumental in the design, obtained the building permit, and built the addition to match the existing house. He payed close attention to detail of the existing house and made the addition seamlessly fit in. He kept his promised timeline, listened to our ideas, and we are thrilled with the result.

The Project included a small open porch with a gabled shingle roof which led through french doors into the 8 windowed sunroom with a ceramic tile floor, 2 ceiling fans, 6 recessed lights, and 2 suntunnels. Bay windows & a french door were taken out to provide a large open entry into the diningroom and kitchen creating an open concept look. The finished room blends so perfectly with the architecture of the house both inside and out that it looks like it was always there. The project took six weeks as promised and is above and beyond our expectations! The “Ragan team” not only is dedicated to quality materials and workmanship, but also maintaining a positive and unruffled attirude when encountering “bumps along the road” which inevitably happen in a project this size. Paul Ragan's vast experience and ingenuity were obvious throughout the project. We higly recommend Ragan Construction Company!

never happened. Paul Ragan came to the house and spent a lot of time discussing the scope of work. Said he would email a bid to me. Called 1 week later and told me on the phone it would be $32,000. I told him that was more than we wanted to spend, and could we discuss eliminating some items to lower the cost. He said he'd send me the written bid, so I could go over it in writing. He called a few hours later and said his computer was down, and he'd get the bid to me shortly. That was 10 days ago. I never heard from him, did not receive the itemized bid, did not receive an email or phone call.

I apologize for the misunderstanding my Internet line had got severed in a wind storm.I explained to customer what was happening and offered to meet in person. Unfortunately she got upset and unwilling to compromise on scope of job & quality of work being performed. Therefore we parted ways. Unfortunate."

Our remodel went absolutely wonderful! Ragan Construction kept things tidy as they moved along, from taking out the kitchen cabinets to tearing out the paneling. They threw out the old and even used the shop vac to keep the dust down, this was so important with my husband and I's allergies. They worked very hard even with changing out the paneling for sheet rock. They are prompt on inspecting cabinets delivered from the local home improvementstore, in case there was damage we could get replacement sooner than later. The only bad thing was that the home improvement store couldn't get our granite in, as they were behind, but no worries, Mr. Ragan put in a temporary wooden countertop, so we could use our kitchen while we waited on the granite. This is my second time using them and I would definitely use them again and again. The cost includes labor only, as we bought the supplies.

The Honeybee House?was only one project in a long list of renovations and improvements that Paul Ragan has done for me with consistently positive?results.??We have had?long professional?relationship since 2008. ?I have exclusively used Paul?after consulting with other contractors because of his friendly manner, ease in communicating ideas,?quality of work and price.?The construction and renovation?work he has completed?includes replacing windows, powerwashing,?painting, removing shutters, rebuilding two decks, remodeling a bathroom with new tile on the?floor and walls, and?creating?a in-law apartment in my basement that was handicapped accessible.??The most dramatic of his renovations was?my kitchen/living room remodel that required taking down a wall,?replacing the expansive ceiling, installing new?kitchen cabinets and tile floor. ?All of the above work was done by Paul with high regard for my ideas and?needs. I've known Paul Ragan for over a year now. We met when I was searching for a new home. I few times I bid on houses, and I hired him to make a pre-inspection before I made my offers. He's been in building, for a very long time. He can easily 'case up' a place, let me know what problems I may have, and the quality of the construction. When I found the house, I had about 32 days between the closing of the house, and the time I had to leave my apartment, as my landlord needed it vacated for her son. Fortunately I had ample access to the house, prior to closing, ordered everything to be delivered at the house the day after the close. Then Paul went to work. I also had hard wood floors installed throughout, and he was great about coordinating the timing of everything. It was stressful because here is my dream house... I'm not a designer or decorator, know nothing of color, lighting, etc. and really wanted to move in and have everything perfect. Well....Paul has friends who know this stuff. His worker Casey has strong artistic sense and came to the rescue several times, and his electrician is also very knowledgeable on design. I was thrilled with everyone he brought onto the job. So just 2 days before Christmas I moved in, and have been completely satisfied, and very happy and peaceful in my new place.
