They were really good. They came right away because they were working at a neighbors house. The showed up the next morning and took down a dead tree. They knew exactly what they were doing. They did it in a few hours. The price was moderate. They did not damage anything around my property.

They were prompt for the estimate, and prompt for the start of the job. They worked non-stop very professionally, took great care to avoid collateral damage to our landscaping, and added a couple extra limb/tree-trims at no extra charge.  They finished up smoothly and cleaned up completely after themselves. It was as if I had waved a magic wand and made the offending limb disappear.

Paul and his crew of four arrived a few minutes early and went to work immediately.  I am in total awe of what they did, especially the guy who climbed all the way to the top of the tall tree and hung from ropes at times while he cut away the branches.  I was really impressed when he cut the trunk so that it fell EXACTLY into the spot designated for it.  The crew cut all the branches into logs suitable for firewood, cut the trunk into 3 foot lengths for a neighbor, stacked the logs neatly along the fence line and cleaned up all the fallen leaves and debris.  They dumped the mulch near the community garden so it could be used in the walkways...and were gone 4 1/2 hours after they arrived.

I can now sleep in my bedroom without worrying about being crushed by the oak tree during the night!

The tree crew came as promised and cut one big tree down as expected. They were quick, professional and did a great job of cutting the tree into manageable pieces for us to cut up later for the wood stove. The pieces were even put into piles of similar sizes! The area was left very orderly and neat. We will use this company in the future. Great job!!!

He did a very good job. He did what he said he would and did it in a timely manner. It was a little higher priced than some others but it was worth it.

It went very well. The large tree was taken down and all other jobs completed in less than six hours. They cleaned up before they left and placed mulch where we requested. Another tree service on Angie's list, quoted almost double and said the job would take two days.

Mr.Patton was prompt in following up on my phone call for service. He came the same day and gave his estimate which was significantly lower than another company listed on Angie's list. He brought his crew on the day we had agreed on even though it was bitterly cold. The work was as effiecient as any I have ever had, and the crew left the work area cleaner than it was when they started.

Mr. Patton came out the previous week to provide an estimate. We were very specific about the work to be done. We wanted the tree felled and to leave approximately 4'-5' of stump, split the sticks into 21" lengths, stack the sticks and leave us a 4'-5' plank. We explained that we were going to have the 4'-5' stump carved into some kind of art and we were going to have the 4'-5' plank carved into a table. We were very clear that the split logs were to be 21". Mr. Patton gave us an estimate and was to call the next week to set up a time to perform the job. That next week we were out of town Wed-Sun. When we got home the tree was cut down to the ground, there was no plank saved, the wood was stacked but it was all cut to 16". Also, a tree next to our deck had been trimmed of the branches that reached onto the deck, something we did not discuss and did not want trimmed. There was a message on our answering machine from Mr. Patton left on Thursday saying he would be out Friday to cut the tree and to call him if we had a problem with that. He came to our house without confirmation from us when we were not at home and did the work. His original quote was $400 and he took off $100 for not doing the work as we requested. He did stack the wood neatly where we specified.

Excellent work. The crew worked very fast and knew exactly what they were doing. They climbed the tree and removed top limbs without any problems. They got the very large trunk on the lawn without damaging the grass, ground the stump, hauled all the wood away and cleaned everything before leaving. They agreed to give the wood to families who needed it to heat their homes.

They arrived on time and got the job done quickly and efficiently. This is the second time we have used Paul Patton's tree service. He is professional, does a good job and leaves the site as tidy as possible. He is the first and only person I will call after having bad experiences with others.

This is one of the most professional services that I have encountered in WNC. They remove trees with surgical precission and minimal or no impact on surrounding growth and structures. They cleaned up to the point where other than a stump, the area appeared exactly the same as prior to their work. The price is reasonable and they arrive promptly and do their work quickly and are quite thorough. Mr Patton calls back quickly when contacted and is good to his word with arrival times estimates which are free. I would highly recommend them to family, friends, and neighbors.

I thought that the guy and his crew did a good job. They did miss a few branches, but the price was better than other companies. They did a thorough clean up and I would use them again.
