Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
A total disaster. It is now July 17, the only work done to date was on May 29, when my existing kitchen cabinets were torn out, and on June 11, when an out of state sub-contractor did some minor electrical work. The contractor did order the vinyl flooring, and paid for it, but never picked it up. He has never even ordered the cabinets, in spite of twice telling me that he has done so. Since June 20 he will not take my phone calls, has not replied to a certified letter requesting cancellation of our contract and a refund, and has not yet responded to a Better Business Bureau complaint I filed a week ago. I hired this man because of a strong personal reference. He had a Grade A Better Business rating with 28 years in business.

"CUSTOMER DOES NOT UNDERSTAND CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE. DUE TO THIS SHE TERMINATED OUR CONTRACT AND ACCUSED ME OF TAKING HER MONEY AND TURNED IT OVER TO THE LAW. THE LAW IS NOW HANDLING IT. IT WILL BE SETTLED IN COURT. JAMES B.GASS, OWNER."
