From the ground up builders is a complete full service buisness. All work is kept in house. We are fully tooled for all phases of building. Remodel and additions have been a large part of our business since it requires multi-skilled taskes to complete properly. We can handle as much or as little as you wish. Our goal is quality that leads to referrals and do not believe in desposiable housing. We like to build healthy quality housing offered at a fair price.

If a rating of A+ were possible, Kevin would be getting that rating!
Project took about 6 months, but we could not be more pleased. Throughout the project Kevin, paid incredible attention to details like we've never experienced with other contractors on previous projects. We had engaged an architect to design the kitchen rebuild and room addition. Kevin was able to work quite well with the architect's drawings. At several points, he made suggested changes to the architect's plans which resulted in improvement in efficiency and appearance. He always got our approval for any contemplated change in the plans. Kevin stayed in constant communication with us keeping us appraised of the progress of the project. We found during our many purchase decisions of cabinets, flooring, countertops, fixtures, etc. that he had given us very realistic allowances in the budget for these purchases. We were told by several salespeople that our budget allowances were among the very few realistic ones they had seen and we were able to get very good quality materials and furnishings and stay within budget! The materials that Kevin used in the project were of high quality; he did not use any substandard materials even for the areas that would not be seen when completed. We got the quality we were paying for.
Overall, we were less than 5% over our planned budget by the time the project was completed. We had one delay on the project due to the cabinet company shipping one base cabinet with the wrong finish which threw the timeline for granite installation, plumbing, electrical work, etc. off.
It was very obvious that Kevin takes great pride in his workmanship and insists that his workers pay as much attention to details as he does. Not only is he a master craftsman, but he has a great personality also. He is easy to talk with and readily answers questions about his work. His choices of subcontractors also were quite good; their work was of the same high quality as Kevin's work.
We would certainly use Kevin again for any future projects that we might have.
