I could not be more pleased and impressed than I am with the work Mark Gregory and his team did for my home. I got several different estimates and Mark’s was the most comprehensive and accurate. He spotted issues that others missed, and which were borne out to be exactly right during the course of the work being done. If you have a roof that has issues due to improper previous work or deterioration there is no one I would trust more. His team removed and replaced rotted plywood along my eaves and gutters and added a liner.

At first he put on grossly mismatched shingles. Came back, out on shingles closer to original color. Great. Six months later, there's a problem with that section of the roof. No response. It wasn't as though I was expecting him to do anything for free either, but at least make your work right.

I got quotes from 4 different roofers and Mark was great during the whole process.  He was very patient and communicated well by phone and email.  After getting his initial quote, I went back to him and asked him for some revisions so that all of the final quotes would be "apples-to-apples".  CertainTeed are not Mark's "go to" brand but he has a lot of experience with them and he agreed to install this brand at no additional charge over his normal selection.  I also asked him to use certain brands of materials and include some extra work, which he did at a very reasonable price.  Overall his quote was the second lowest of the four I received.  I eliminated the lowest quote because that contractor seemed to be very questionable, of the three remaining quotes Mark was approximately 30% lower. 

On the day of the work, everything went very smoothly.  Mark told me that most of his crew had been with him for 15 years.  They worked well and were efficient.  They removed an old chimney and installed a new soffit vent system with ease.  A big concern I discussed with Mark before the job was the flower bed in front of the house.  My grandmother planted flowers there before she passed away and we were very concerned about keeping them from harm.  Mark's crew kept the flower bed pristine and cleaned up extremely well after the job was done.  The clean up was much better than a previous company I used on a different home in the past. 

I really should have written this review sooner, but I wanted to make sure that there were no problems with the shingles or the installation.  The weather has been crazy this year, so they've have a good test.  Almost a year later and there are no concerns at all.  I am very happy with my choice of CertainTeed Landmark shingles and Mark Gregory Roofing.

Overall, they were excellent! They took all precautions to protect any surrounding structures and yard. They were quick, efficient and extremely reasonably priced. Mr. Gregory did more work that needed doing that what was originally quoted on the estimate but only charged what he gave on the estimate. I highly recommend Mark Gregory Roofing and am telling everybody I know just how great he and his crew were.

Overall, the job went very well. The new roof looks great and my house looks terrific from the curb! There were a few minor issues that occurred during the project, but they were promptly addressed and taken care of. His crew were mostly Hispanic, but have been with him for a long time. The foreman was English speaking, as well as another crew-member, so communication was not a problem. Mark was present for getting the job started and checked in on the crew frequently until the job was complete. He was easy to reach and called back within in a timely fashion if the call missed. Overall, I give Mark Gregory Roofing an A.
