Contacted them in the morning and left voice mail message. Owner returned call and explained they would try to get to it that afternoon, and if he wasn't, they would call me back and set up an appointment. In the afternoon, the service technician called and said they were on their way. Arrived promptly, and he knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it and lubricated it, Tested it and it worked as good as new. He also gave my other door a quick lubrication and check. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend, and hire them again.

My technician was prompt and courteous.  I even had to run out to take my kids to school when he arrived and he was waiting when I returned.  My garage door was not working properly and he was able to fix it in a matter of minutes and went the extra mile to help me adjust my new garage door opener.  This is a top notch business and I would recommend to anyone in need of a garage door or service on one.  They actually installed the door in 1996 when the house was built and I will call them again to service my door if necessary.

A torsion spring on our garage door broke while we were on vacation and when we got back into town, we needed it replaced.  I researched online the average cost for replacement by a repairman and found it to be around $200-$250.

Clifton Overhead Doors had installed the door for our builder 4 years ago when we bought the house, so we contacted them on Saturday afternoon when we returned from vacation and I left a message (hoping to get one of the first appointments on Monday).

We played phone tag over the weekend (unexpected by me, since I did was not expecting a call until Monday):
I missed the return call on Sunday around 10 AM (Marvin did leave me a message apologizing for not getting back with me on Saturday).  I called him back later Sunday afternoon and left a message that my husband would be home on Monday, if someone was available.  We got another phone call Monday morning to firm up a time for the repairman to get to our house and meet with my husband.

The repairman showed up on time and worked for about an hour to replace the springs.  Then he lubricated the springs and door components, the chain on the opener, and gave my husband some tips for keeping the garage door well lubricated.

We were not expecting him to lubricate the door, which was a nice surprise.

One of our garage door openers stopped working, with the motor only making a clicking noise. Called Clifton as we have used them each time we needed repair or maintenance (18 years). They set up an appointment and fixed the motor as agreed. Also did the preventive maintenance (check alignment, lubricate, etc) for both doors. We've always gotten excellent customer service from Clifton.

The door to the detached garage had not worked in years. In readying the property for rental, repairs were necessary. I did not know who to call and had even less idea of the costs needed to repair. This company was quick to respond from the first call on late Friday to their repairs the following Tuesday! The price quoted on the phone explained all possible scenarios and was extremely reasonable. The work was done efficiently, according to schedule and price. A later, unprompted, follow-up call was made to ascertain that we were satisfied with their work. And, of course, we were!
