He was incredibly easy to work with. Originally we were only going ot get the glass replaced, He was able to get the glass and make the replacement same day, which was wonderful, since the repair was so we could put the house on the market. The cost was incredibly reasonable, since originally we were looking at having to replace the whole door, and it was a custom sized door frame. But after it was repaired, the door was just as good as new! He offered to repair the wheels as well after he saw how difficult it was to open and close the door, and had the parts in his truck. I would absolutely use him again!

The price was reasonable. Rather than replacing the door, he fixed it so that it works like it's brand new.

Dan was hard to pin down on a written estimate. Took weeks for that. Because the neighbor wanted to use him we finally agreed after seeing the estimate the night before work was to start.
Scheduling the work was another long, drawn-out process, though to be fair, some of the delay was due to a lot of rain during the spring and we were told the work couldn't be done if it was wet.
Work was finished over at least a two day period. We did have to call him back at least once because he did not reinstall the door correctly (could see daylight through the side of the frame).
We have now had a substantial rain and find all the areas he touched leak.
When Dan finally returned my call he said he'd done everything humanly possible and hung up on me. Won't give me his insurer or agent to file a claim - said he didn't have time for me and had other calls to return!

I called Dan one afternoon and the next afternoon he came to fix my door in less than an hour. He replaced the rollers and the track. $45 for the service call, $45 for labor, the rest for parts. He came in and got right to work, knowing exactly how to fix my door. Very personable & knowledgeable! I live in Charlotte/University Area and he's from Belmont but I gather that he services all of Charlotte.
