C & M Exterminators Inc

We have been using Cand M for 8 years now. They have always been professional and kind when they do their monthly visit. They have always been accomadating when I would call because the ants took over or when I needed to reschedule. Although you must know that they were bought out by Metcalf, so we will see how things change. Already I have gotten a post card reminder instead of a personal phone call, and the phone number is different, when called it went to a call center instead of the office that I use, and the operater was not very friendly. Not sure if we will keep then now.

Cand M provided a termite inspection and confirmed that I had termites. The representative, John, was thorough and professional, and
there was no pressure at all. He gave details about the treatment that would be done, and requested preparation on my part to clear vegetation away from the exterior walls and to clear items away from the interior walls of the garage to allow the person doing the termite treatment access. Within business days, I received a contract by email and signed and returned it. I then called to schedule the treatment. Vince arrived at the scheduled time, warned me that would be a lot of noise from the drilling of holes, and
began his work. He was pleasant and kept me informed of his progress. When the job was completed, he gave me instructions on calling back if I saw any evidence of termites.

I had seen them in the neighborhood and had neighbors recommend them. I have been using them for over ten years. They come as needed and it is not needed as much. It is mainly for little ants. They are friendly and prompt. When they say they will come they come. They do not over apply. They don't overdue everything.

My experience with them has been very good. They call and let me know when they are coming. They are very reliable.

I have a yearly contract with them and they always call to remind me when its time for them to come out and do their biannual inspection or to set an appointment up. They are excellent and their staff is really friendly and accommodating. I will continue to use them in the future.

I thought they came promptly and I had called couple other places and their prices were pretty much the same. Since they were closer I called them. They came and I thought they did a good job as far as going down the basement and doing the holes and doing the treatment. I thought the treatment was adequate. The man that came out was very knowledgeable about the pest situation and termites. He pointed out things that I had never even noticed or looked for. He did a thorough look over of the basements, rafters and everything. So I thought he did a good job of checking out the damage they had done.

He gave me a termite certificate. He inspected it and told me that there was damaged wood that needed to be replaced that was there when I bought my home 20 years ago. They gave me advice on how to get rid of an ant problem. He was extremely knowledgeable. They were very interesting and helpful.

I spend about $180 on a general visit. I have had them spray for ants in my primary home and my rental property. They do internal and external, but I have a new born so they just put some little gel bait instead of spraying inside. I like that they are professional and punctual and would tell others.

The technician arrived during the estimated time window. He was very quick and professional. Explained how the mouse bait works and gave me instructions in case I saw mice droppings. Today, almost 2 months later, we found some more droppings on top of the stove in the kitchen and I gave them a call to come and check on things. I feel safe with their professional services.

I've used C and M for years. They are always on time and work really hard to fit into your schedule. They also try to fit you in to come to the house as soon as possible. Their technicians are really knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are local. They guarantee that the home will be pest free. I think they charge about $100. Initially I had a termite problem and it hasn't reappeared. Initially, it was very important and since then it has been just a matter of maintenance. They look at various obvious places to see for any activity. If they see anything, then they take care of it. They have done some work outside and we haven't had any problems inside. When it comes to the pricing, they are the only ones I have ever had. It is kind of superficial now. They did a good job the first time. Their responsiveness is good. They announce when they are going to come and they come. I expect to have them out in the future too.

Years ago a major franchise performed very poorly at our family home; so this time I was looking for a long-experienced local company -- totally familiar with local pests, with a long investment in the community. I contacted several companies for bids; some never responded, others had a phone but no or unattended office. Only a few qualified for what I wanted.

From the beginning to end I was totally satisfied with Cand M. They responded promptly with someone who understood the problem and solution. They provided an explicit estimate, without a bunch of high-pressure sales nonsense. I visited their office. They have been in business several decades, with a real office/shop, equipment, labeled vehicles and long-term staff.

When time for treatment (a year later) they honored their original proposal. We had removed some badly infested material, and had the inside clear, ready for treatment. On the day of treatment, the treator arrived on-time, with van and everything necessary. He personally had decades of local experience and explained everything. We provided water and electric power connections. He could not have been more cooperative, contentious or informative. He was very careful about cleaning-up.

Cand M warranted their work for 1-year, available for any questions or follow-up, with extended warranties -- transferable to future owners. I'm confident that we solved the problem, and have full support if there is any necessary follow-up. This was exactly what I wanted.

They were able to do it at short notice. They were very thorough and quite reasonable. I actually wasn't there when they did the work. My husband was there and the feedback I got from him was fine. I would recommend them and would use them again in the future.

The representative for the company was very professional. They came out and performed the service the next day and offerred to do a follow-up in two weeks at no additional cost if the rodents returned as long as the account is paid in full.

Painters noticed termites and ants. I called Angie's List for some names. C and M Exterminators came that day to give an estimate and came on 5/26 to do the work. Everyone was friendly, professional and punctual. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

They were either recommended to us when we bought the house or were the same people that were doing that service for the house for the previous owners. You pay them the insurance every year and they come and check once a year and make it so easy. I don’t have to keep up with it because they will follow-up. They come when they say they would.

He is a nice guy and he is very straightforward. He explains things to us. The price is reasonable and the quality is good.

They were very good because they were easy to get a hold of, easy to deal with, and they took care of everything while I was not there. I thought the price was reasonable.

Cand M was the second company I called. The first one was a bit aggressive in the sales pitch and kept pushing a treatment followed by annual contract type arrangement that I didn't want. Cand M, by contrast, made an appointment, sent out someone to do a basic inspection for signs of termites. When nothing was found, it was a very soft sell of their perimeter treatment service. Given that we'd seen a flume of migrating termites in the yard back during spring and that neighbors on both sides and one across the street had identified termite problems this year we decided to go ahead and have the perimeter treated. Scheduling the treatment was easy and they were very flexible when the Department of Public Works kept changing the day the street was being paved. (Their truck would have been barred from our street during the milling and the paving; both of which occurred around the time scheduled for treatment.) In the end, they came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, and it cost what they said it would.

They were very prompt and polite. They were thorough as well. They did a great job. I would hire them again if I needed to. It was very easy to set up the appointment. I was pleased with the out come.

They are very good and I have used them for many years. They are quick and I have never encountered any problems with their service. I've never had any trouble with insects and I am sure if I did that they would know exactly how to deal with it. I would highly recommend them to others.

They make a phone appointment and the inspector always arrives on time. The inspection takes just a short time but is thorough.
