Checked Angie's List for providers, and found 5 that I really put confidence in because of their reviews. Of course they were all busy, couldn't answer the phones, etc. I was in desparate need to have this looked at by a professional RIGHT NOW.
Was a little skeptical of this company at first because they only had 1 (A) review that was not too recent. My call was answered promptly by a very nice young lady who acted very professional. I can't stand when I call a company and a lady answers the phone in a southern drawl so thick I could barely understand then yells from my phone call through the office she's in repeatedly--I love the south, I was raised here, but customer service is STILL customer service.
When she heard my situation she directed me to the owner (wow! honesty! I can appreciate when someone doesn't know something to direct their client to someone who does) who then reassured me they could handle this.
The owner was very thorough (I also liked that he had ALL of his credentials/licenses listed- not just services provided) and had a slot that afternoon by his Jacksonville tech. PERFECT!
From the time the tech came and completed the work it was 3 hours. Back to normal by dinner!
Thanks you guys and great job!
"Thanks for you business. Glad we were able to help you through your septic problem."
2) The shower drain was installed crooked. Can't be fixed after concrete hardened.
3) Installed new dishwasher out of the box. After it was installed I noticed one side was damaged. If they didn't damage it, then it came that way. If it came out of the box damaged, they should have brought it to my attention. Of course, Lowes wouldn't do anything about it because it had been installed, and I can completely understand that.
4) Installed $200.00 SS kitchen sink and left a 2 inch smear of silicone around the entire rim, plus silicone on the interior sink walls. I still haven't been able to clean it all off. Would have been easy to clean it up when it happened, but no.
5) Twice I asked Scott to come and speak to me about the above; twice he said he would and twice he never showed up. They did, however, have to come back because I failed the plumbing inspection; they did not install a pressure relief line, so they had to return. Asked me several times who had p***** off the inspector. What? Employee bought some silicone cleaner and in the process of trying to scrape it off, he actually scraped the finish off the front rim of the sink. When I told him to stop and look what he was doing, he started yelling about his 20 years of experience and that was that.
6) Employee was unhappy because I didn't want the hot water heater release line run midway up my wall and across 16 feet of my wall; I told him to put it lower so it would be covered by the furniture. The line was installed above the trim, and the job is a mess. My complaining about the sink annoyed him.
7) I addressed these issues in a letter to Scott dated June 9th and asked for a paid Invoice (all I had received was an Estimate). The response was the same as it was to my phone calls...ZERO. With the exception of employee Steve, this was an unbelievably unprofessional experience from start to finish.
"Don't know this customer. Do not have a work order or a invoice for her."
"THANK YOU FOR THE KIND WORDS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUR BUSINESS. WE STRIVE TO MAINTAIN THIS LEVEL OF SERVICE FOR ALL CALLS. THANKS FROM PIPE CLEANERS."
