In the event that McManus Farms wants to charge you extra to guarantee your plants, dont agree to it. They will not show up to replace the plants they (guarantee) McManus himself will email and text you that he is (coming next week) and then neither he or his crew shows. When you inquire, he promises he is coming the next week. I intended to buy my own plants and pay McManus to install them but McManus convinced me to pay an upcharge to have plants guaranteed so if they didnt survive, he would replace them for free. He hasnt replaced any of them after two and half months of me pestering him to get to it before its too late for the plants to take root before the first freeze. I havent ruled out a lawsuit but its just too much of a hassle. And I think he knows that. The plants that didnt survive are not that many and, with the exception of a Dogwood, not that expensive. Why he would ignore a customer and risk this kind of Google review is beyond me. Its just really, really bad business. Linville and surrounding customers, take note.

McManus and his team installed two significant retaining walls that were failing. He replaced rotting wood walls with a very nice modular brick. Similar in cost to wood, the new modular brick is set to outlast me! The work was done in a timely manner and I had great two way communications with Dave McManus. I recommend him freely to all who inquire and I will hire him again in the future. His work is in high demand so call as soon as you need an estimate. He knows his business.

Built a structure on my property that did not pass code. He refused to fix it so it would pass instead he put a lien against my home because I refused to pay.

I thought the price was a little high for the hydro seeding, but I had nothing to compare it to, so the price may have been ok. I was also told they would call back the next Tuesday or Wednesday to see if they needed to come and water, but they never called. I watered the mixture as best I could with a hose, I just hope it survives. I couldn't reach some of the area. RonM Roan Mountain
