Alpha Build and Remodel

Seemed good at the beginning, then it became problematic, and then nightmarish. Alpha Build and Remodel works without contracts and the invoices for estimates and finals are confusing. Alpha build walked off job. Workers are untrained and unsupervised often, though the spiel is very high labor rates much be charged for super skilled labor. A small roof was put over one door and the door couldn't be opened all the way until I had them back to fix it. I called for a building inspection after it was clear manager B. Braun not ever coming back; it was disapproved. Alpha Build and Remodel kept payment toward pricey equipment without delivering the products. Much of work done needs to be fixed or finished. Uneven siding paint job looks terrible up close and from street, porch door handles missing, threw away parts to a new chandelier, porch doors installed crooked and don't close properly, porch screening design lacking and huge gaps left, screening already sagging, areas around windows not caulked, stair boards not screwed in, mud blobs left on ceiling next to exposed wires, and too much more to list. Cheap materials substituted for expensive ones promised. Though Alpha Build and Remodel LLC is registered in Badin, NC, on western side of NC, 2019 work is happening in eastern NC counties of Pamlico, Craven, Carteret. Previous year was working was near Richmond, Virginia.
