Service went very well and one of the workers mentioned some moisture behind the exterior light that may need attention. Only disconcerting thing was they worked with live wires which caused a little sparking at times. I guess that's what professional electricians do. The two switches function well so obviously no harm was done.

Fantastic service, came on time good pricing, quality work. wiil use for future work.

Kevin and his crew showed up on time and did an excellent job with tricky aspects to snaking a wire from one room to another. The job was professionally and for a very reasonable price. I would use them again....and will!

First, a correction for you: It's Bogue Banks Electric, not Bogue Bank Electric.
It was work high up on a two story house, and they installed the new flood lights in exactly the way we requested so that we can now change the bulbs from inside the house rather than having to use a tall ladder. The work was done within a few days of our request, and we have no complaints.

• My husband and I thought we could make a quick swap of an old electric stove for a new one. Problems! We needed a different outlet. Bogue Banks responded quickly to our call and our short time schedule. We were pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the electrician. Very good. Responsive to a request for a quote, showed up when promised to do the work, and did a clean job.

He even identified all the breakers with what circuits were connected to it. Very impressed with that!

I found his company name here on Angie's list when my mother and father needed the work done in their beach house. We contacted them and everything went exactly as hoped from beginning to end.
The next day after the job was done we called the Pine Knoll Shores code enforcement officer to inspect the work and he gave it a thumbs-up.

Kevin and his worker (sorry, didn't get his name) were professional and we will use them again.

I went online an searched Angies list for electricians. Based on reports, and relative proximity to Emerald Isle I called Bogue Banks Electric. The initial service need was a repair/replace of a faulty circuit breaker and a faulty light switch. I described the services in the conversation and Kevin indicated that he could perform the work the afternoon of the same day. He arrived that afternoon did the necessary troubleshooting and repaired the problems.
My wife wanted to also replace 4 hard-wired light fixtures and Kevin did the work early the next morning.

Both Kevin and his assistant were professional, courteous, and extremely responsive, particularly given this was on the day after Christmas.

Based on my experience, I have no reservations about recommending him to perform electrical work.

I will not ever call another electrician in Carteret County again. It is usually such a pain getting anyone to do a service call at the beach but I have finally found someone who is responsible, uses common sense to solve problems and tries to find ways for me to save money. Kevin Pelfry, owner of Bogue Banks Electric, was pleasant, prompt and very professional. He and his employee explained what they were doing in terms that I understood. He called from Lowes before he came to my house to make sure that he had everything he needed so that he didn't need to leave in the middle of the job. I certainly appreciate that.

Kevin returned as promised the next week. Finished the job in the time and cost he estimated. Kevin is very professional in his business. I'm glad to know I have found an electrician that is reliable and trust worthy.

Kevin is ahead of time, Extremely Professional ( the company wears shirts that say Bogue
Banks Electric, and Kevin drives a van that has Bogue Banks Electric Plastered all over the side so you know that it's him), He knows his stuff........what he's doing as a certified electrician and he is timely, sticking to the task at hand which can be hectic on the beach in the heat of summer with all the activity around.

He is not easily distracted and gets right down to work and is fast. He is an Excellent Electrician! He is honest and professional. His prices are more than fair, which is unusual for the beach.

Any other electrician doing the same work would have charged me 440.00 to perform the same work Kevin and his associate did today for 220.00.

I am so glad to have found Bogue Banks Electric, I will never use another Electrician again........as I've hit the Jackpot (which is unusual), finding someone who is qualified, shows excellence in their work, and is more than fair price-wise.

I live 3 hours from where this home is located, so I needed someone I could call and get results. I had already tried our rental companies suggestions and got no response.I then decide to consult Angie's List and called Kevin and told him what we needed in terms of the switches and the outlets. He said he would go by there and see what he could do. This was late in the day and he was finishing up on a job, so he said he would stop by the next day. The next day he called me and told me what we needed and I agreed and asked when he could start. He started and completed the next day. The job was excellent !!!! He did all of this in our absence, and he left our home clean.....we could not even tell he had been there other than the work was completed. This companies' service really exceeded our expectations....getting anything done at the beach when you are not present usually doesn't happen. Kevin proved us wrong.....I would recommend him to anyone. I am glad to post about such a reliable and professional company.
