Wood Masters

Amy Billings did a wonderful job painting my wood built-in bookshelves. She had the perfect balance of showing interest (e.g., in the colors I chose, etc.) and offering professional advice (e.g., not necessary to sand to extend the life of the paint job, given the particular primer she uses), without ever acting like a "know it all" or discounting my questions. Amy was able to do this job sooner than she originally thought she would be able to, which was a great surprise. She took some of the shelves home to work on over the weekend, so the job was done in 2 days! She was extremely neat, prompt, communicative (we mostly used text), and very kind. Friendly and hard-working. Very fair price...in fact, she only did 2 coats on the areas of the bookshelf that really needed it. She could have said the whole thing needed 2 coats, but she was very honest and only did, and charged, what was needed. A pleasure to work with - have already recommended her to a friend and will use her again!

She did a very good. She knew what she's doing and she works efficiently. I was extremely pleased with her.

25 yrs ago I bought the cabinets of my dream. I was prepared for the color to age some (from light natural to deeper amber). What I was not prepared for were bumps and bruises from general use. And once you see one, you start to see them on most of them. Mostly lower cabinets were involved. While Ms Billings was already in my home removing wallpaper, I asked her if anything could be done to bring the bruises back to their natural state. She explained the process she uses, mixing paint to achieve the desired color that would restore the cabinets. She agreed to this after finishing wallpaper removal. I truly was amazed by Amy's work. It was as if by magic the cabinets were restored to their former glory. I highly recommend Ms Billings' ability to restore woodwork, not just cabinets. And in the long run it has to save you the expense of new cabinets

Amy worked magic on all the wood restoration that she did.  The bathroom vanity looks like new and what a difference she made to the beams, trim, doors & walls she did.  She truly upped the value of our home.  I can't recommend her highly enough.  She is coming back to do more to my tired wood doors & walls. 

Amy was able to apply her restoration process which is no DIY treatment.  The piece looks 100% better and deserves a place in the living room.  It is an amazing treatment and worth a try for any well loved and well used pieces of furniture. It has a new lease on life for another 30 years.
