Tom Denmark Computer Repair

Recently I experienced a computer crisis. My PC would not boot. No splash screen, no noise. not even a chirp from the motherboard when powered up. It was a 50 pound paperweight! This was my primary business machine and without it I was out of work.
I initially took it to a local Asheville PC repair shop. That was a huge mistake. They had the box for 2 1/2 days and weren't even able to give me a definitive diagnosis. The closest they came was " we're leaning toward thinking it's a bad motherboard". Having lost my patience (and over 2 day's of work) I asked them to put the pieces back together so I could pick up the nonworking machine. I was done with them.
Enter Tom Denmark. I called him and explained my tale of woe. Within an hour he arrived at my location. After spending only about 30 minutes on site, he determined that the motherboard was indeed bad. Let me say that again - he diagnosed the problem in 30 minutes as opposed to taking 2+ days to come up with a guess.
He then procured a replacement motherboard, installed it, and had me up and running in a little over a day's time. He was efficient, professional, and charged a fair price.
If your computer is experiencing issues, I wholeheartedly recommend Tom. He literally gave me my life back!

Tom covered all of the cables with a plastic covering and then attached them to an expanded surge protector he mounted underneath my desk.  As a result, everything has been hidden and no longer accessible to children or animals.
All cables were labeled for ease in identification.  The task took approximately four hours.

Mr. Tom Denmark has a considerable experience and skills. He is a truly expert in computers (he used to be an instructor at IBM).
He knows what he is doing and work very efficently. He is a refined gentlemen very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was so impressed with Tom's experience and skills. He used to train people at IBM. That in and of itself speaks volumes. He now specializes in pc maintenance and repair and really excels at what he does. I had tried to install three keys that had been missing on one of my PCs by watching a video tutorial and then spent an entire hour on my own attempting this endeavor. Tom succeeded in installing the keys in mere minutes....even faster than the person who was featured on the tutorial. Tom made efficient and excellent use of his time by moving on to other tune-up tasks while other programs were downloading or working. He is ultra-resourceful and knows of the best backup/storage resources as well as the best anti-virus software out there. By tuning up the pc, he optimized the performance of the hard drive by running several programs that he brought along with him.
This is a specialist who really knows what he's doing and he maximizes the time that he spends working on your pc.

It went wonderfully. Tom has the patience of Job and seemed always to be able to find another way to do something when the usual way doesn't work. He is so experienced and resourceful and explains things so clearly. I will definitely use him again.

The experience was Excellent from start to finish. All phases went as planned and the results are far better than anticipated.
