We really didn't do that much. We are in Alabama and we're looking for a home in the Asheville NC area. It ended up we didn't do that much we were looking out of her area but she was very professorial and responsive to us.

Susan is amazing. Unlike many agents that focus on getting you as a client, then pushing you into buying something, Susan's goal is to match the right people with the right home. No pressure, just solid advice. She found our dream home site after months of looking--and we're picky people! When we found the right place, she jumped on it! We had our bid in the same morning it came on the market, beating several people who planned to put down bids later. Susan also helped us sell a house several years ago. Again, solid advice about pricing that very much worked in our favor. She made the whole process very painless and smooth. We recommend Susan to everyone we know. You will not find better integrity, professionalism and humor all combined in one person.

I contacted Susan after seeing a favorable review on Angie's List. We met the next day. The firm she is with also has a mortgage broker, also a skilled professional and delightful human being, with whom I met that first day. While he could not place me personally due to my unusual circumstances, he went out of his way to help me organize and acquire the necessary documents, clearly explained the challenges of my application and pointed me to another financial institution that he thought could and would approve my application. Bringing my now organized and complete application documents, the mortgage pre-approval letter was in Susan's hands by the end of the day. Susan has been working with me now for nearly two months. The search for my next home continues and I am totally comfortable and confident in Susan's professionalism, insights... and friendship.

Susan Peterson has the best business ethics of anyone I've ever known in real estate. I used to work as a mortgage lender for a non-profit bank. I knew literally hundreds of agents and had many to pick from--but when it came down to it, I picked Susan Peterson to help my wife and me purchase our first house in Asheville. She gave us the same attention she gave clients that were seeking very expensive homes; we could confide in her and she gave us her frank opinion about the homes we viewed. She is exceptionally honest. We looked at literally dozens of homes and she never even once pushed us to purchase. In fact, when we found our ideal home (good price, excellent location and awesome views, BTW) she finally said to us, "You guys, I'd jump on this!" We were so in tune with her. And boy, was she right about that house. We purchased the home after she did a wonderful job negotiating. Very smooth process. Three years later we decided we wanted to build, so we called Susan to list our house. It was only on the market for 3 days, and we had multiple offers! Selling went well, too--had one potential full-price purchaser who had to back out because of job loss. Susan handled it beautifully, got us out of the contract and the house back on the market , then got us a second full-price buyer, within a few weeks and we had our asking price in hand (bought in 2004 for $230K, sold in 2007 for $335K!). Then, she helped us find our dream place, where we're now building. The perfect spot for us, once again, at an incredible price. Susan has a great sense of business and a great sense of humor--she's honest and has integrity. She's a trooper, she works VERY hard for her clients. We've recommended her to many of our friends and they've all had wonderful experiences with her. We highly recommend her to anyone!
