Summit Home Inspection

I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail and complete work that Steve provided.  He took time to investigate all aspects of our potential new home.  He went over the report in a thoughtful manner and made suggestions on what items he would recommend for us to discuss with the seller.  I would highly recommed Steve to anyone that is considering the need for home inspection anywhere in Western North Carolina.  I was very happy with his kind friendly approach and knowledge of all home systems.

Steve not only did a comprehensive home inspection, but he spoke with me in advance of sending the written report so I could understand exactly what he found and the seriousness of his findings.  He also gave me his opinion of the minor problems and which needed a professional contractor, roofer, or other specialist to evaluate and repair the specific problems he cited.  He did everything in a timely and respectful manner. Steve was also easily available for followup questions we had later.

Steve from Summit Home Inspection was very punctual and arrived when he said he would. He was friendly and chatted with my husband while taking the water samples. He delivered the samples to the lab the same day. Steve  forwarded the first report to us via email.  When I emailed him back about the results I got no response so I called the lab. They explained what we needed to do to correct the results. Apparently Steve did not know the metal samples testing takes 10 BUSINESS days. When I called after 10 days and spoke to him about not getting the lab results yet he was surprised.  He immediately contacted the lab then called me later in the day to see if I had heard from the lab.  Steve then sent the lab an email telling them we needed this information to close on our refi.   We got the results within 30 minutes of his email.  He then called to see if there was anything else we needed from him.
