Chris is a real craftsman. I bought a 17 year old home that had cabinets in the kitchen and master bath finished in a dirty cream color. Now I have clean white cabinets in my master bath and white upper and navy lower cabinets in my kitchen. Everything looks so fresh and new, at a fraction of the cost of replacing my cabinets. Chris is meticulous, taping, covering, screening before beginning sanding and spraying. he took all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts to his shop, then returned three days later to prep the area. He opened the cover to my refrigerator every night so I didn’t have to live out of a cooler. He shows up when he says he’s going to be there, does an amazing job. My kitchen project for all of my cabinets and island was about $6800. Another company quoted me 2,000 just for the island! I could not be happier.

Chris did excellent work in on our kitchen cabinets. He matched the color we wanted exactly, and did such a nice job with the painting that the cabinets look like new. He was very easy to work with from start to finish. Called back right away to give us an estimate, and walked us through each step of his process. He stuck to the project timeline and left the kitchen in perfect condition--no smell of paint fumes, and no dust or paint anywhere. Would absolutely hire him again in the future!

Chris was an absolute professional. It was a wonderful experience and a big job. Old brown maple cabinets boxes were refinished and all doors and drawer fronts were replaced with white modern shaker style. The stair bannister yellowed over time and Chris sanded and restained it a dark walnut finish. He recommended a contractor for new cabinets to extend to the ceiling and painted them once installed. It has been several months and I love my “new” kitchen and master bath. Chris was very detail oriented and is a great communicator. He managed all the dust and mess very well. The job started and finished as scheduled. The paint finish is very high quality as are the new doors and drawer fronts.

Chris was great. He is is ultimate professional. He is very meticulous about his work. He completed the job quickly leaving the kitchen absolutely clean. The cabinets look fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Chris.

We had a bathroom cabinet damaged by water and cosmetics which was in horrible condition. The adjacent cabinet was also very worn looking. The cabinets look like new after Chris refinished them.  He communicated with us very well, controlled all the dust and paint fumes, and is a perfectionist. This job could not have been done any better.  Highly recommend!!!

This project was part of a kitchen remodel undertaken before putting the house up for sale.  Chris was very thorough, completing the work in timely fashion.  The results were beautiful and the house was sold to the first couple who viewed the house after it was listed.  'Nuff said!!

It was quite the extensive process but very well worth it.   Chris does a meticulous job and now my kitchen and bathrooms look like I installed brand new cabinets. Highly recommend Chris for the job 

Cabinets look brand new. Chris made sure he minimized any mess or inconvenience and was great to work with.

.Chris was completely professional from the first contact through the finish of the project. He described the process, the options available and was specific about the time it would take to complete. He sourced the style of cabinet and drawer fronts we desired and did not stop until he found the molding we wanted which was not available anywhere locally. The finished product is very fine and we coulld not recommend him more highly.

We hated the thought of tearing out our old but very solid 3/4 inch cabinet grade plywood cabinets for newer. Seems like such a waster. So we found Chris to refinish our existing cabinets and put new doors on. Major job with little impact to the rest of the house. The looks was totally changed... cabinets were dark and and quot;custom uglyand quot; aka and quot;do it your selfand quot; .. now light pretty cheery painted with mission style doors/drawers. We did have some issues with chipping rather early on(not due to Chris's work but to the doors) and this is where Chris really shines. He honored his warranty and sanded and repainted the doors and made sure the colors matched perfectly. He made the inconvenience as short as possible and was very professional about this rare problem. I would recommend Chris Voedisch if you are looking for this type of work to be done.

I did not deal directly with them. I went through a very good handyman and assume this is the business he dealt with. I am quite happy with the work. It was slow but perhaps these things are always slow. I would use them again.

I had an excellent experience using Speciality Cabinet Finishes. The outcome was so very beautiful and changed truly ordinary cabinets into designer quality appearance. I can state this as I am a designer of 30 years experience. The Master bath had high end cabinets and I at first I thought about replacing with something more desirable. I priced new cabinets which would have been $12,000. For $2,000, Chris transformed the look into a show stopper worthy of a magazine.

The original cabinet maker used a clear coat that failed. Over the course of ten years the cabinets had gotten awful looking. Chris could not have been nicer or more professional. He keeps to his schedule and does spectacular work. In addition, he's just a nice young man. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Our cabinets look better than new. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this kind of work done.

EXCELLENT! Chris made an old kitchen and laundry room look new again. He is a fabulous hard working man who takes pride in his work and the service he provides. Best word to describe him is and quot;PROFESSIONALand quot;. It is amazing how well he prepares the rooms where sanding and painting will occur, keeps the dust and spray at a minimum, and then cleans up as if he were never there. He holds his work to a high standard and wants to be sure he delivers outstanding results.......and he does. Thanks to the friends who recommended him. Talk to Chris before you consider replacement cabinets. He will provide you with a very cost effective alternative.

.It was overall a easy process because Chris made it that way. He was in constant communication....a few lines of email when necessary...just to keep me fully abreast of his progress and when he would be removing the cabinets, how long it would take to complete the refinish, and when to expect the installation. I deliberately stayed away so that I could take in the kitchen once he was completed. I can't rememer one single and quot;hitchand quot; in Chris' time schedule and certainly the cabinets he returned had been to the Magical Mystey Factory because they didn't even remotely resemble what he took out of my home. Additionally, Chris very kind offered to adjust a couple of bathroom cabinets and study cabinets which had doors that had drooped a little with age. He offered to put their hardware on and make those adjustments at no additional cost from his original quote for all the kitchen work. This gentleman does outstanding work and believes in and quot;exceeding expectationand quot;. He's one of the best trades I've had the privilege of working with and a very nice person to boot. Thank you Chris for the making my favorite room in the house!
