They did not have it in stock and had to bring it in. When they brought it in, the box was badly broken. They had to sent for another one out. We are happy with the product and we eventually got it.

They never actually repaired the fridge. They replaced it with another fridge that also didn't work. I had coolers with ice for my food in my kitchen for a month. They replaced the fridge with one which was much less expensive and would not give me a credit for the difference at all. It is impossible to contact them, I would sit on the phone for 45 minutes to an hour. They also shipped the wrong parts several times. I eventually had to go outside of Sears to get it repaired.

The salesperson Bill was amazing, he did everything he possibly could to make the outcome the best possible. Always pleasant and helpful. I couldn't ask for more in a salesperson. Delivery was a mess. The driver did not even try to deliver the first time because the driveway was muddy and not paved. The construction crew offered to help carry the appliances up the steps and into the house but the driver would not even step out of the truck and just left. The delivery finally happened 3 weeks later. The warehouse manager called and tried to explain the situation, but lazy is lazy, the first crew did not even try. Sears builds a great product in the Kenmore Elite appliance line. We love our new appliances. The Asheville store experience couldn't have been better. But the lazy delivery crew from the warehouse in Greenville, SC took all the accomplishments that the Sears corporation had achieved and made me want to cancel the sale.

He did not like the machine we had, said that it was "the machine that put Maytag out of business", and that at 8 years old it had exceeded it's life expectancy.
I don't believe he took enough time to diagnose actual issues. He spent most of his time getting his computer to work to look up parts and labor prices. Written estimate says we need a transmission, gearcase pulley, and pump totalling almost $700 in parts and labor.
My impression was that he was biased against the washing machine and did not want to take the time to do a thorough diagnosis. He advised us to buy a new washing machine and gave us a Sears discount coupon to apply to a new purchase.

I had issues with my Fridgidaire gas range that I bought from Sears. They sent out a repair man and they do not want to replace it with a new one.

It was a good experience. We have a contract with them. I like the service and they fixed the problem.

We had a Lazyboy recliner that had lost many connections holding the springs, legs, etc. and decided it needed to be relplaced before someone fell to the floor. The sales women said that it should be covered by warrentee and called Lazyboy to get the info of where to call and said to see if they could repair the chair. Then she said that if we still wanted to order the chair to call the next day. We decided after calling Lazyboy to have the chair repaired, then donate it to Goodwill, but order the new chair from Sears.
Lazyboy gave us the name of the store to see about the repairs and I took it in and they said they could give us the parts needed, but would have to charge $50 an hour to repair. Goodwill was willing to repair it, so we gave them the parts and the chair.
I felt that the sales persons at Sears were very happy to help us. One doesn't get that concern from most sales people.

The person who came was on time and came when he said he would. I had a problem with the spring on the door and they came back twice and fixed that for free. I was happy with their service once they had installed the door. I would use them again in the future.

My husband was here when they did it. He thought they were nice and friendly. They needed a part they didn't have while they were here, so they left and came back to finish it.

I was not here when they delivered them, but the appliances are great. I have never seen a refrigerator that is so big and has so many compartments.
