Diagnostic done...said he was ordering part from Alabama. He said it would take a couple of weeks. I paid 112 and have never heard back. It seems that this is a pattern. Asheville Police were contacted.

It went extremely well. Mr. Robinson explained everything he was doing. and although I think most repairmen would have given up and let the refrigerator thaw out over time, Mr. Robinson worked until the ice was gone and the problem solved. This saved us a lot of food that would have spoiled otherwise. Additionally, he did this work on a Saturday when most other repair shops are closed.

"We tried to contact this customer on several occasions as to the repair cost and service required to repair his set. No work was performed on set, so no additional charges were paid. Only fees paid by customer was the estimate charge!"

I had this guy fix my plasma tv as the mother board blew out. I was happy with him at this point even though he was expensive. The mother board blew again 8 months later. I called him to let him know. This was a brand new mother board so there is no way it should have blown. This guy came to pick up my mother board to repair. After he collected it he would not contact me ever again at this point. The repair (cheat) wouldn't have been as profitable as other jobs so he never contacted me, told to me in so many word by Robinson himself. It took me three weeks of constant calls before I even spoke with him. He finally brought my board back finally only after threatening action, of course still in disrepair. This guy is unprofessional and doesn't respect his customers time or the customer themselves. I would only give out his number to people I don't care for. In short go anywhere else.

Initially the repair seemed to go well. Less than 9 months later the same exact problem has happened again. I cannot get them to look at my tv.

"First of all, the unit was not under any warranty, so we are not responsible for any repairs for this unit. Customer agreed to our Business Policy. Our warranty is Labor 60 days. Parts are warranted by the parts Distributor, in this case 180 days. This unit was repaired in Jan. Sorry the customer is not happy, but we have been in Business since 1991, and we know you cannot please everyone! For good customer relations, we agreed to do another service call (at no extra charge) on this unit to check it out again for the customer. Which we were out there Mon. 09/28/2015. Checked his set at (no charge), found a damaged PS board, probably due to power, or voltage surges. We pulled the board to attempt repair. We will be returning the board back to the customer asap, since the customer has stated he does not want to continue business with us on this, we cannot continue to invest anymore of our time or money on this repair. Sorry it has happen this way, but we are not responsible for the guaranteed for this repair! Thank you. David Robinson; Robinson Electronics."

I had an 11 o'clock appointment and he did not show up. I called him, but I did not get a return call. I have called him about 4 or 5 times since then and left voice mails and still have not received a call back. The first time he worked for us, he did a great job. Unfortunately, this time, I cannot get him to call me back.

"We have tried to work with the customer on this issue. The set was working great when we checked it out, with no issues. This set is 15 years old, dated Aug. 2000. I notified the customer from day 1, that it has older components that could fail, but would try to replace some components, that may keep it going a little longer. We do not offer any warranty on this old of a set. I'm sorry the customer is not happy with our service. Most of the parts are no longer available for this unit. I don't think it would be cost effective to try to keep installing parts, and wasting the customers time, and money. My recommendation to the customer, is to dispose of this older set, and get a newer model!"

Arrived after electricity went out in a couple of zones. Immediately troubleshot the problem, fixed the wiring which was potentially dangerous and promptly replaced the necessary parts, installed a couple of requested new dimmers as a bonus extra and checked the rest of the house.

TV blew a circuit board. Did some research online to see what might be the problem and cost just to educate myself and get an estimate in mind. TV repair provider identified the same area and was a little cheaper that the online information I had gathered. Provider ordered a new circuit board, replaced it and tested TV thoroughly. I had a small issue after I got it home with a cover blocking removal of the stand to wall mount. Provider coordinated with me I took it back in and he and took care of problem right away while I waited. Great Job! Very professional and friendly.

He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired without any new parts. Connecting wire in screen had loosened and re-seated the plug. It's been six months since repair and TV is working great.

They were great. They were honest, they said they could fix it but they don't know how long it would remain fixed. For $300 you really couldn't go wrong; it was worth the gamble, I think because they will send us out to replace the television set or $300 to give it a try. They were great and made it clear that they are not making any crazy promises it was just what they can.
