Repairman came, fixed in 5 min., charged $175.00! He forgot to check we had contract n overcharged us! Never got reimbursed n generator does not work!!!

We were traveling near Asheville and our truck broke down pulling our camper. The RV park listed their telephone number for this company as an after-hours contact. We called and the gentlemen offered that if a wrecker could get us to the RV park, he would help us from the front parking lot to our site. The was very friendly and helped us out. The next morning we get a call from their office stating that we owe $250 by the end of the day for the "towing service" they performed; pulling us less than 200 yards! The owner even called that afternoon and threatened to come to the RV and collect if we did not pay up by the end of the day and refused to provide an invoice or any type of documentation that we could give to our insurance company. Another review stated they have "shady" business practices...I say it is an understatement. They will obviously take advantage of you if you are from out of town and in a bind. After RVing for years, I have never encountered such a "service" or company. BEWARE and STAY AWAY!

Was great - I've used RLC Service Group before to install exterior doors and storm doors, repair damage to my porch and they did a great job. Didn't know until recently that they did heating & AC maintenance so hired them for that. Josh came and was prompt, professional and pleasant - and very knowledgeable. I bought the yearly maintenance agreement and am confident that my equipment is ready for the winter and next spring.

The person that did the estimate didn't write down a single thing I said. He asked if I wanted the drywall repaired I said yes. Only to be charged an additional 250.00 because he said he forgot it.Has not finished plumbing 8 days later. Shower faucet can be turned 360 degrees. Has not finished downstairs bathroom replumb. Asked about it said it was plastic pvc and would last as long as the plex pipeing. This piping is 20 years old. Supposed to come tomorrow to finish the job,Will see.Asked for a outlet for pumproom was not given. Yet was charged for a 30 ft connection and a added breaker to box.Also when installing the shower faucet from a side sitting position moved the toilet about 1/2 inch did not fix. Suppost to be a 2 day job tomorrow is the 10th day. Plumber did not show up second day at all.there fore drywall repair and rest of work had to wait a few days.

Contractor assessed all HVAC units within our shopping center, provided us with a detailed professional report of all units, provided us with recommendations of unit replacement and provided approximate longevity of the remaining HVAC units that could remain in-service.  Contractor handled all submittals and permitting to the city of Asheville.  Contractor provided me with various options of HVAC manufacturers and gave me recommendations on which provider would have the best overall quality and service.  Contractor handled the project in a very professional manner, always looking out for the best interests of the owner.  Contractor followed all safety guidelines and kept our existing tenants well informed of any disruptions during the scope of the HVAC change-out.  I would HIGHLY recommend RLC Service Group to anyone that needs HVAC services.  They are extremely prompt, perfectionists, and care about the quality of service they provide.  A+++ Company and team!!! 

The plans were finalized and construction began on December 1st and was finished on December 24th, in time for Christmas, as promised. The work entailed knocking out a wall, pulling out everything to the subfloor and wall studs, running a water line across the kitchen for the new refrigerator location, installing beautiful high-end cherry cabinetry and wood flooring. In the process all lighting was re-designed and installed. The wall that was removed is now a open to the dining no room with seating for two on the DR side and cabinetry and a wine cooler on the kitchen side. We did run into a few issues but they were discussed and handled promptly. I had ordered quartz counter tops but the supplier only sent half the amount required. I don't know whose error it was...the fabricator or the amount ordered was wrong; however, the owner of RLC called me and we discussed the various options I had, either to continue with granite or wait until January for the second shipment of Quartz. I chose to go with the granite and ended up saving some money in the process. Another problem was the person who serviced the furnace didn't realize the pilot light had to be re-lit manually (older furnace) and we had one very cold night. The owner sent someone over immediately the next morning to re-light the pilot after I contacted him. I also had RLC install my whole-house generator, which has been fantastic and kicks in within 3-4 seconds of an outage. I live in the mountains and the power has gone out several times since I moved in. I've decided that generator may be the best decision I made after moving to NC! RLC also replaced the water heater, and just in time...the bottom fell off the old one as they were taking it out of the house. As I have said, there were a few issues that arose but all were handled immediately and to my complete satisfaction.

Contractor installed an emergency back up generator at my home; included electric transfer switch and gas hookup. They were prompt, efficient, courteous and left the work site clean.

They changed the estimate repeatedly after they'd been hired- not unforeseen changes but just lack or knowledge and research about the cost of the project. The cost was an ever-changing target. They showed up without letting me know that when they were coming. I went weeks without hearing from them. A worker showed up and said that the manager had told him he'd tried to contact me several times and never got a hold of me which wasn't true because I had been waiting on this man's call back for weeks. When this worker showed up he had no idea what I wanted and had to ask me what he was supposed to do.
They made an error in constructing the concrete mold design that I wanted and then were going to charge me to fix the error.
I tried to be as clear, accommodating, and respectful as possible with them and they just simply did not show me the same courtesy. I will never call them again.

Trent showed up on time, worked independently, completed my checklist in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I felt safe with him in the house.

The RLC employee was extremely professional and helpful.  As stated above, he performed the labor to make our generator operate automatically when a power outage occurs.  He did an excellent job with the installation of an outdoor electrical outlet; making it as clean and inconspicuous as possible.  He also reworked and cleaned up the landscaping around the installation. We believe that the pricing was more than competitive and we'd definitely recommend this company.

Extremely responsive to the quote request. Suggested follow on service to be completed by a flooring contractor. Punctual. Completed the job as described and quoted. Great to deal with..

They are putting in a generator for me today.  They cut down trees for me.  They have the nicest guys.  They are the most trustworthy and amazing people.  It looks really good.  They are going to set up the generator on Monday, so I won't be out of power this winter.  They couldn't do the seeding because of the rain.  I got another quote of $5000 and one of $4000.  They did it on the front and back yard.  They also did all around the side yards.  I had a couple of trees that were down, and they got all those chipped.  They bought in the huge chipper and they were chipping all the limbs that were falling.  They went over and beyond.  They cleared out the flooding, which was there over a month and nobody did that.  The pricing might be a little bit, but we know it is going to be done right.  I got another quote, but I knew these guys were dependable.  Everything they have done, I am so pleased with.  They always give their business card and cell phone number.  They say that we can call them 24/7.  They mean it because I have called one guy because I was not quite sure if he is coming out the next day.  They didn't touch with me the whole time on every job.  They come when they say they are going to come.
