I'm in Whittier and this comes up as the number one search for driveways. But they don't even come near whittier. Thay said they're out of asheville and only drive thirty minutes away. I'm also a webdeveloper so I know they had to pay google to advertisers this far out. That's why i'm putting the bad review. Don't advertise where you don't work.

Google picked up our address near Asheville on google maps. I'm not sure why google maps placed it near Whittier. Perhaps they wanted to give people more options. Best wishes with your project. I hired Quality Contractors to install low voltage lighting. It was a $8500 job. The wiring was placed just below the mulch so within a few weeks, much of the wiring was exposed. I called Mike to get this resolved. He said that the person who buried the cables was new and didn't do it deep enough - it was supposed to be below the mulch; they returned to bury it correctly. About a year later, one of the lights stopped working. It took me a few weeks to get anyone to return my calls. It took another few weeks for anyone to come out to the house to repair the issue. Last month, another light stopped working. Once again, I called and had to leave messages. Brian and Mike then bounced my issue between the two of them. After 2 weeks of this, I finally got Mike to discuss the issue on the phone. He said he would charge me $90 plus labor and parts to repair a light that was still under warranty. I tried to explain what the situation was and ask why the item wasn't covered under the warranty. He then got very rude and disrespectful, accusing me of calling him names and lying. I told him he was the one lying as I had our conversation on tape. Suddenly, his demeanor changed and he wanted to cooperate with me. I asked to talk to Brian several times and he refused- stating that he was the boss and he made the decisions. He also stated that a service call wound entail traveling 2 hours one way to my house (from Canton to South Asheville??) and that I already had several service calls in the past - so much for extended warranties with this company. His professionalism and customer service skills do not exist. I cannot recommend this company unless you hope to never need follow up/warranty service from them once the job is done!

We were happy to correct the problem with the buried cable which was completely our responsibility.Which we did at NO CHARGE We were also happy to come back one year later and replace a burned out bulb at NO CHARGE. This was to provide quality customer service to you again at no charge. UNFORTUNATELY we are not able to come back indefinitely for FREE . I was informed that there was a piece of the light missing and you had it taped together. I informed you that we needed to charge a $90 service fee to come out. During our conversation I was disrespectfully called a rip off artist by you. I am sorry we can't continue to work together any longer on this project as we cannot subject our employees to this type of behavior. I hope you are able to resolve the issue with the light. Very pleased that removal was done in one day with the grading for new areas. Concrete was poured and finished within six hours on a following day. Workers worked so hard it made my muscles hurt just watching them.

Amazing customer service! In today’s environment real customer service is almost an oxymoron. Mike and his team take customer service to a new level. They say what they do and they do what they say! From the initial contact with Herb, their quote and contract person, to the installation and follow though, they are on point each time. They did a great job. We the had the test of customer service when an issue came up with water drainage being a challenge. The new concrete was poured just a tad too high at the edge of my drainage grate thus making the water spill down my walkway vs draining away from the area as it had previously done. Mike, the owner, and his crew were all over it. They came several times to assess the problem and design a fix that would be both functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. The foreman even showed up in the pouring rain to be sure he could see the exact water flow to be sure his solution would be the best one. They fixed it. It’s wonderful and...you won’t find a better, more honest group of people to work with on your project.

Mike and the rest of his crew at Quality Contractors offered a very competitive bid (compared to other two I sought out) and held true to the estimated cost throughout the project even going so far as to not charge me a little bit more when I modified the design adding maybe a few dozen square feet to a 4000+ sf project. I was very satisfied with the level of communication by both email and text both as the project was approaching and during the work. The quality of the work was very good and would have been excellent had it not been for one or two brush strokes with the float that left a mark in the final product and a small chip to some previously existing concrete that they did repair to a satisfactory level. Given the scope of the project and the fact that it was a driveway I considered these minor blemishes and overall was quite satisfied with the work. One issue that future homeowners should consider is providing an adequate "washout" area. I allowed them to use the area along street in front of my home which left a deposit of grey concrete dust when it dried up and in hindsight would have rather this been done somewhere off site.

The guys at Quality Contractors reflect the title in their name. I recently had a concrete driveway poured at my rental house. Quality has done work for me before, and despite a few days' delay due to weather, once again they showed up on time, and worked steadily to complete the project in a single day. They later returned to do some finishing touches to the drive to enhance its quality. The Quality personnel also cleaned up the work site before they left, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Quality Contractors for all your concrete project needs.

We recently had Quality Concrete Contractors install a driveway at our home in North Asheville and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. Mike and his whole crew were outstanding with communicating every step of the way. There were a few challenges with our lot and design, but Mike diligently worked with all parties involved to make sure the inspections and approvals went smoothly. The end result is gorgeous!

We contracted with Mike Stollenmaier and Quality Concrete Contractors to pour a new front patio for our home. We met with Herb first who did the measuring, diagram drawing for approval, and quoting for the job. He was friendly and easy to contact via phone and email. We were out of town when the job was completed but were very happy with the work we received when we got home. The old sidewalk and patio was removed and hauled away. Things were neat and clean around the new patio area. We would highly recommend this company for any concrete work you have. I believe they specialize in driveways but did a really great job with our new patio.

Initial inquiry was answered promptly along with an appointment to assess the problem. Assessment was thorough and an estimate of cost and schedule were given shortly therafter. Work was scheduled earlier than projected and completed within the 1-day timeframe that had been projected. Workmen arrived promptly, worked quickly, and obviously were "pros" as was the concrete truck driver. Owner Mike, supervised at intervals. Follow up frame removal and check were done the next day. We could not have been more satisfied with the whole experience and look forward to having a safe driveway agaain.

Quality Contractors did a great job for us and I wanted to share with others. They did exactly what they said they would do and for the quoted price. Beautiful sidewalks with perfect finishes. Made little mess but cleaned up afterwards. We will definitely be calling on them again.

My hats off to this crew. They took care of everything from permits to a possible drainage problem. I have a 6-car driveway that had sunken over time. Quality Contractors took up and removed the old, diagnosed the issue, fixed a drainage tube, delivered and smoothed 3 dump trucks of fill material, framed - poured and finished the cement all in 2 days. My neighbors remarked how respectful the crew was and how nice the finished drive looked. Mike (owner) and Kim (superv) made sure to answer all of my questions and continued to take care of post-pour things like grass seed, even after I made final payment. These guys aren't the cheapest in town, but what I got was worth the price.

Our experience with Owner Mike & Quality Concrete Contractors was Exceptional -- We had to replace an original new build driveway, plus a lengthy addition/extension of an existing walkway. Mike and Rick were very personable, flexible and creative with design and solutions throughout the process. They take the extra steps and give you extra care in their workmanship, along with their large removal/install and finish crew, as well as excellent cleanup and putting everything back in place. Would absolutely use their services again -- Very highly recommended!!
