PRO TREE CARE

Excellent service.  Very professional and friendly.  Very knowledgable.  They removed 17 diseased hemlocks, ground stumps.   Trimmed and cabled a large maple.  Very meticulus about clean up. They came when they said they would.  I cant say enough about them.  We deifinitley would hire them again.

The huge tree is between 2 houses and growing over electric lines in a relatively small space. One half of the tree is growing to the side and could be at risk of breaking off and falling on my neighbor's house. John and his crew pruned out branches to eliminate weight and then installed 2 cables to anchor branches to the upright part of the tree. They had to use a crane for the pruning because of the electric lines in a tight space. They are very careful to minimize damage to the yard. Safety is their top priority. They are all very professional, courteous, and easy to work with, answering any questions and explaining what is happening. I can recommend John highly and will use him and his crew again.           

John and his crew arrived promptly each day and got right to work. They worked very carefully and steadily, roping down each branch. The largest tree was 10 feet in circumference and 90 feet tall with a very wide spread. He brought in a crane because the trunk was so large and would have damaged the yard if felled. The second tree was in a very confined space with electric lines nearby. Both trees had branches over the house. They cleaned up as they worked, keeping the site safe. They removed all the wood and did a great clean up job. John is very safety conscious and was constantly watching to be sure that no one would be injured. It was obvious from the beginning that John had studied the trees and had planned how to proceed.  All the crew knew what they were doing, were very deliberate, working steadily and carefully and coordinating constantly. John and his crew are all are very easy to work with, courteous and professional. The company is fully insured. I will definitely use them again.

These men are very skilled, careful, and efficient. Everything about the job was professionally done exactly as promised. Bidding and insurance documentation was quick and complete. Cleanup was excellent; they raked the affected area of the yard clean and left wood chips for us to use as mulch, as we requested, in a pile exactly where we requested. The price was in line with two other bids.  We recommend this company highly.

I enjoyed working with John throughout the process and would hire his team again for any future tree work. He had a large team who came out and knocked out the job within a few hours. Both large trees were taken down nicely and all the stumps were ground up. Any excess debris was raked up. All in all, I thought his team was very professional and did a great job. I would recommend this company.

They were very good. They came when they said. You couldn’t even tell they’d been here. We had 4 big trees and they were gone. I was very pleased. They have a reasonable price too compared to some places.

They were wonderful.  He got up in the tops of the trees and pruned them.  Did everything that needed to be done to keep the trees healthy and also the trees around the trees healthy.

It was excellent. He is still in business, and continues to do a good job from people that I know. He came in and gave an estimate of the work he was going to do and in that he was very selective as to what he was going to leave and what he was going to take. He knew his trees as an arborist would and was conservative with us, he told us that we could do part of it now and part of it later and gave us the choices to do that. He was very efficient and courteous, and I would highly recommend him.

Things went extrememly well.  After my initial call, John was right on time and gave me an estimate on the spot.  I called him the next morning and accepted his bid.His crew started the following week and removed all trees, limbs and everything else from my property. There were no problems with any of the work.

John Parmenter, owner, came first to give an estimate and advice on what to cut for best health of tree as well as looks.  He spent lots of time explaining and educating us with no pressure to schedule the work.  John has a wealth of information and gave us straight forward answers.  The estimate was reasonable and we liked John's attitude about not topping trees nor butchering them.  The work was done by a 4 person team, including John, and they had all equipment necessary to do the job properly, including a shredder.  All were friendly and helpful, and they wore safety equipment and did the work carefully.  Their cleanup was beyond our expectations and much care was taken to not injure other small trees below the cutting.  John always returned my calls and emails promptly.  I couldn't be happier with the job or the price and will call them again if I need other tree care.

Jon was fast and responsive coming out to give us a quote. He gave us recommendations that were clear and sensible and then did a visual inspection of all the trees on our lot. He worked with us to manage a tight schedule on our end and when the work plan changed, he quickly revised the quote.
The job lasted two days. The nail-biting portion of it - the tree overhanging the house - was felled with zero damage to the house. The rest was done quickly and efficiently. I appreciated their diligence and the ease of the whole process.
While its hard to be super-cheerful about a 2000 arborist bill, I feel like it was worth it for the ease of the experience and the quality of the service in regards to a job that was not simple. When I need more tree work, I will be calling Jon.

The job went wonderful. They were very responsive and knowledgable. They answered all the questions we had. They also provided quality work.

John and crew epitomize professionalism. Not only are they very efficient they also operate it in very organized way. Ropes and tools are constantly being stored when they are not being used, limbs are being moved to chipper steadily, etc. They are very safety conscious and everyone wears hard hats, hearing protection, and safety vests.
Our project involved one very large tree that was only a few feet from our house. They took it out with surgical precision and even used a large crane to safely dismantle the trunk and some large limbs that were over the house. I watched a lot of the work and at no time did they not look like they were in complete control. Everything about them instills confidence. 
I genuinely admire people who do their craft, and conduct their business at this level. This is the A-Team!

John Parmenter gave me a better estimated price than another on Angie's list, at the same time being much more informative on choices of what to remove and precautions they would take with the nearby pool. I learned more about the company by going to their excellent website. John answered emails to the site promptly, so it was a good way to communicate.
He and his three workers were extremely well organized and efficient, removed branches and trees very carefully, and cleaned up well. At the same time, they were all very courteous and a pleasure to work with. They worked hard and finished by two in the afternoon.
I was grateful for being in such good hands, and would hire them again without hesitation.

They are very effective and very knowledgeable about trees.  When they took down a couple dead trees they took the chips from the trees and they gave them to students at Warren Wilson College who used them for experiments in environmental studies; they call it composting.  They also used some around the dining hall.  It’s a very good way to dispose of those chips.  The price isn’t high but there are people that do this type of thing cheaper.  That wasn’t what we were aiming for. 

John Parmenter of Pro Tree Care and his team are AWESOME! After receiving our estimate and giving him the go ahead, he was at our home in about one week. He called the night before to notify us of the time that he would arrive and he was on time. He was very professional and it was amazing to watch him and his team at work. They were very skilled at bringing down huge limbs and the main base of the trees with efficiency and preciseness. They were careful not to damage any of my plants that might have been in their way and they cleaned up totally before they left.  John went above and beyond what we expected, his prices were excellent and we would recommend him and his team very highly.

Overall, an OUTSTANDING JOB.    The  professionalism and safety approach demonstrated by John and his crew sets the standard for others in this business to follow.   My initial contact with ProTree Care was for advice and an estimate for all trees on the property.  I found this company on Angie's List.  I'm  grateful to all other member's who commented on ProTree Care's service.  

In addition to the overall performance, ProTree Care is priced extremely well for services rendered.   I would not hesitate to use his services in the future.   I highly recommend that anyone looking for tree service contact John Parmenter.   Many of the neighbors commented on both the efficiency of their operation and  the high standard of clean up performed after the cutting was finished.

They were the safest, most professional tree crew that I have ever used. They showed up on time. It was difficult to get a hold of them, but they are well worth it if you can reach them.

John gave an estimate for the work.  On the day appointed, he and his crew showed up on time and went to work.  The removed a locust and an overgrown arborvitae, then worked to remove branches from a large oak and poplar.  They worked carefully and removed material to be chipped as they worked around the house.  They carefully cleaned up all small branches from the roof of the house and the surrounding lawn.  I was extremely impressed with their skill and diligence and would recommend them unequivocally to anyone needing tree trimming or tree removal.

John and Ross came promptly when they said they would with their machinery and tools. They put down plastic mats to protect the lawn from the track of their tree moving machine (cool piece of equipment) and were able to fit it in our 4 foot wide gate. They were quick, efficient and friendly throughout the entire process. There was never a time I was worried about the operation putting our home in danger (two trees were 80 ft. tall and 20 feet from our home).

The trees were removed in pieces and taken to the chipper to be discarded (no mess!). We used the chips to mulch several areas around our home (around raised beds, in a firepit area, etc.) and our neighbors used them for a play area for their kids. We had plenty of chips to do everything we wanted to do with them!When the trees were removed (3 trees total), John used the stump grinder to remove the stump to 6-8 inches below the surface of the ground.

JoAfter finishing with the trees John and Ross cleaned up by raking the yard of all sticks and debris. Before putting the equipment away John asked if the job was to my liking, further demonstrating his thorough and detail oriented approach.His quote was very fair and based upon all the glowing reviews from Angie's List, he uses care in all of his jobs. I highly recommend Pro Tree Care and am very happy with the work they did!

He is probably the best contractor that I have had in my house.  He took out the tree in 45 minutes.  He charged me $100 for that.  I would use him again in the future.

He was the least expensive of the 3 estimates I received and the most professional of the 3 companies.  I don't think I've ever seen a service provider who was more professional than him.  He kept me posted on when he would be here based on the weather and I always agreed with the decisions he made about coming or not.  He was in at 8:30 AM and was out at 2:30 PM.  He cut down a humongous pine tree and chipped up all the roots.  I'm amazed at how good and thorough of a job he did.

I live in South Florida and have property in Asheville.   My tenants informed me that two large trees were dead on the property and large pieces were falling off of one one the trees.   I obtained several quotes.  However, ProTree ( Mr. Parmenter) was the only company who was able to determine that one of the trees died due to a lightning strike and , therefore, my insurance should cover a  portion of the removal, which it did. beat all competitor's prices and did an excellent job!

,We have had two other companies remove trees for us.  Both times they were  harrowing experiences (hoping that the workers would be safe and would not allow a tree to fall on our house, etc.).   Pro Tree care educated us about our trees, the health of each, etc. and removed the selected trees expertly and professionally.  Removing trees is costly and this procedure was no exception.  Pro Tree Care helped us prioritize which trees really needed to go first.
