Shocks were simple...the a/c blower they quoted me a price for a new one but when checking found only a fuse was required. Could have been taken for ride, here is an honest group of fellas that just charged for fuse !! I value honesty and now they have satisfied and a returning customer !!

I am not sure if I will go back. I first discovered Precision tune when they fixed my alternator. They did not charge too much even though their real estate is probably valuable and expensive in rent. I since used them repeatedly for oil changes and the proprietor saved me money by telling me my foreign car would tolerate an ordinary oil just the same as a premium one. He is a very friendly and trust inspiring person. But I suspect after building a trust this vendor may possibly have sold me a full set of tires that my car probably didnt need. But I can't be sure they weren't needed. It just seems like I had tires that weren't really very old. But the tires that he sold me sprung leaks within two months, and I found myself returning for him to patch them. But he did, and it didn't cost too much. Also I recently asked for an oil change and for my tires to be rotated and I was charged for the rotation service but it is a certainty--and maybe an honest mistake--that it wasn't done. I could tell because one of the tire caps had been run over once, so it was bent, and a week after the service I found that it was still in the same rear passenger side wheel. Let the buyer beware to spray paint each tire with a marking to be sure your tires are actually being rotated.

Precision tune auto care Asheville NC is a rip off. I took my car in because the alternator went out. I told them the alternator needed to be replaced and wanted an estimate and told them not to fix anything without notifying me. They called and said it was going to be nearly $500.00 so I told them I'd pick my car up since $500 to replace an alternator is outrageous. When I went to pick up my car they charged me $40.00 for and quot;diagnostics testand quot; and wouldn't give me my keys until I paid. I told them all I wanted was an estimate and told them the alternator was bad when I brought it in so why do I have to pay $40.00 for them to tell me my alternator was bad? They told me it was and quot;standard procedureand quot;. The main wire was broken off of the alternator and was clearly visible so I don't think a $40 diagnostic test was necessary nor was it authorized but if charging for a diagnostic test when they already know the problem and it's visibly obvious is standard procedure I guess they won't mind me advertising that for them. Avoid this rip off mechanic shop like the plague that it is. I hope it was worth $40.00 to lose all of the business they will lose for years from my reviews.

I brought it in from a towing service call on the highway. They added on a diagnostic charge 50.00 and a 25.00 shop materials fee. About 100.00 for labor and 200.00 for the part is standard.

I take my car there all the time. I am a woman who knows nothing about cars and I trust them to tell me what needs to be done and I have never felt that they take advantage of my lack of knowledge by recommending unnecessary repairs. For example - a few weeks ago, my car was jerky and sputtery - the last time it did that I had to have to ignition coal replaced, so I was expecting the same thing. I took it there and they drove me to work. They kept the car all day and of course it stopped doing what it had been doing and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They picked me up from work and didn't even charge me for the labor spent trying to find what the problem was. I still have no idea what it was, because it hasn't done it since.

OK, I know this seems minor, but when a warning light comes on the dashboard, I panic. I noticed the low tire pressure light came on, and I tried to think of where I could go where it was safe, and where I trusted the provider. Precision was my first thought because I had seen their top trusted provider rating in AAA magazine. I pulled in , explained the problem, and although it was cold and snowing, they cheerfully checked the tires and filled the two that were low. AT NO CHARGE!! Wow, now that is service and a real blessing, I would use them for any issue!

The work was done in a timely fashion. Considering I did not have an appointment and I was a last minute walk in 2 hours before closing, I am grateful that they were able to look at my car and provide a reasonable estimate and then fix it without me having to come back another day. I don't know much about pricing but the price seemed fair and the services performed were guaranteed so I feel pretty good about the work.

The guys from Precision Tune Auto Care 064-18 are really good and prompt. There's nothing bad about them at all. I've had really good service with them and I don't have any complains with them.

They were great from start to finish. Fixed a nagging problem and car was ready when they stated it would be.
