"Mr. [Member Name Removed], We have attempted to look up this job ticket so we could speak with the technician and help educate them more, but the only record of us doing any work for you was a dishwasher install back in April of 2017. If you could reach out to us with further information it would be greatly appreciated! We strive to give the best quality work that we can, and when we fall short we are proactive in making those changes. Thank You Emily Dixon Office Manager"
The variable seems to be a stress from the amount of work they have on the schedule and the manpower to complete the work.
Monday Dec 2, 2013 Called Plumbsmart. Amy checked the schedule and set up an appointment for Thurdsday, Dec 5th, between 12 and 1.
Thursday, Dec 5, at 11:30 AM Michael came and examined the faucet location, the back of the wall where I had removed drywall
for access. He took pictures and measurements.
He said he would discuss ideas for accomplishing the repair and they would get back to me on Monday, since the company
Christmas party was to be the next afternoon. Since this was a planned change, and not an emergency, this was ok with me.
Over the next two weeks, I made several calls, speaking with Amy or Kathy, asking them to have someone call me with the plan and estimate. No one called.
On Wed Dec 18th I used the contact section of their website asking "Why have you not called with the estimate and to schedule the work. It has been 13 days since Michael came and looked at our faucet. I am weary of waiting"
That afternoon, Don Hilderbrand called saying he would look at Michael's pictures and get back in a couple of days.
January 2, I received an email from Mr Hilderbrand. He was apologetic about the delay. Said he was unable to find a faucet to replace mine. That the dimensions were such that it would probably need the entire wall replaced.
But included no plan or estimate of time or cost to do it.
I knew it was a hard job. That was why I was trying to hire a plumber to do it. I was not simply looking for a confirmation of my
assessment.
Since after ONE MONTH trying to get them to make a proposal, they had still not given me an estimate for cost and completion, I chose to look for a different plumber.
The punctuality rating is for Michael's prompt arrival for the inspection. He came when expected and did a thorough inspection.
"True that we installed items purchased from Lowes for this bath work. However the price of that work was not quoted by us and therefore not something that we can speak to. A price grade of "D" is irrelevant to this overall grade since that is completely out of our control. As far as the checking product we are unable to do that since we do not specify product. We can measure for fit but the store will allow the customer to purchase virtually whatever product they desire. It is the stores responsibility to ensure the product purchased will work against the detail measure that we provide. Therefore there is no way to check product when we do not specify that product. Now, as far as the cleanup, communication and towel issue. We do not allow for that kind of behavior from our technicians. The technicians that were in your home have been spoken to about the issue and we will be happy to reimburse you for the damaged towel. Our techs all have paper towels on their trucks to clean up their workings. Please accept out apologies for this and know that this type of behavior will not be tolerated nor will it continue."
