Scheduled prior to needing appointment.  Staff sent the paperwork to my home to fill out prior to visit.  Hygienist did complete exam and charting of prior dental work and performed the cleaning.  Dr Sullens came in afterward to exam x-rays and mouth.  Discussed one area she decided would be a keep an eye on but otherwise was OK.

This was as enjoyable a visit (if dentist visit enjoyable) you could expect.  Looking forward to next check up.

Excellent service. I am new to the area and needed an emergency repair. She contacted my dentist from out of state to obtain details necessary for a professional repair. I could not be more satisfied with the results. I am also happy that I found a dentist here in Asheville that I can trust.

She is very nice and very gentle and we are very happy with her services.

Perfect.   Dr Sullens strives for perfection.  Dr. Sullens has a way of showing that she really cares a lot about every patient that comes into her office.  I have been going to her for years and my thoughts today were that she will be my dentist forever.  Great staff, you can tell they really like working there.

She was wonderful.  She is a little pricy so my insurance ran out and I had to finish my services somewhere else.  My insurance only paid 1000.00. She has a wonderful bedside manner though.

My husband and I started using this dental office when we moved to Asheville approx. 1 1/2 years ago.  The waiting room is clean and bright; the exam rooms provide enough privacy.  The admin staff is friendly and helpful; seem to know how to do our insurance paperwork properly.  The techs are really nice; do a very good job of cleaning our teeth and provide helpful information. Dr. Sullens prices seem reasonable and it is fairly easy to get appointments. Her admin staff are very helpful when you have to change appts unexpectedly.
During my first visit Dr. Sullen found 5 cavities which was a big surprise to me since I have my teeth checked twice a year and there were no problems the year before.  However, she did a good job replacing the fillings even though one tooth was very hard to numb (this is a problem I have had throughout my life, so it wasn't Dr. Sullens' fault; she kept trying until she was able to numb the tooth.)  I have not had any troubles with cavities since then.
Dr. Sullens is very nice as well, very friendly, easy to talk to, and seems concerned about patient care..  My only problem is that she has a habit of using endearments like "sugar" and "hon" which is just something I have never liked, especially coming from someone younger. Though I find it irritating, my husband doesn't really notice it.  Since she is a very nice lady I haven't had the heart to tell her that these endearments get on my nerves.  Other than that, I would recommend this clinic.

The office is modern.  The examination and treatment areas look really up to date and super clean.

Dr. Sullens was very pleasant and explained everything in detail and is a good listener.  I came in a couple of months later for a sore tooth and she gave me a thorough exam again and explained that it wasn't the tooth, but a sensitive & slightly inflamed gum issue.  She asked me about general health and any possible sinus issues as well so she strikes me as a "holistic" sort of practitioner.
She is now my new dentist.

There appeared to be some confusion about my appointment when I arrived.  After consultation with my insurance provider I was then able to be seen.  This did cause me to have to wait almost 30 minutes past my appointment time.  The hygeniest who did the cleaning was nice, but did not exactly have the gentlest touch.  My teeth are extremely sensitive and it seemed that the delay of my appointment start date may have frazzled her a bit.  When the cleaning was over, the dentist did come to "check" the cleaning, but did not really spend time to get to know me as I would have hoped, being a new patient and all.  Despite these hiccups, I plan to keep my next 6 month appointment and hope that things will be better on the next visit. 

Excellent experience with Dr. Sullens and her staff. I was hesitant about finding a new dentist after moving to Asheville but chose Dr. Sullens based on good reviews here. She was very personable and professional as were her staff. Wait for appointment times were short, office not crowded. She took her time to fix two cavities found on exam and whole experience was painless.

Nicole Sullens is the best dentist that I have ever had. She was more thorough then any other dentist that I have ever had. All of her equipment is new and up to date. The office was beautiful. Her employees were very kind. She told me all kinds of things about my mouth that I didn't even know. She is also the most knowledgable dentist that I have ever seen.

I had all three teeth repaired...she even did sort of a cosmetic touch up on a front tooth that had this spot on it for ten years at least. It was just amazing ..made my teeth look so much better. She is the most energetic, knowledgeable, personable, friendly dentist I have ever encountered. I look forward to seeing her again but hopefully with no more cavities :)

My Wife had a tooth that lost the filling. One Dentist told her a root canal would be needed with a crown on the tooth for $2,000.00 as the tooth had more decay on it that could not be removed, and then fill the tooth because of the closeness to the root. Dr. Sullens looked at the tooth the next day and was sure she could remove the decay and fill the tooth WITHOUT disturbing the root, although it was going to be close. She not only cleaned out the tooth, but she then filled it with a filling that matches the color of the tooth, instead of the normal silver filling. My wife was extermely pleased with this since it is one of her front teeth. The really GOOD NEWS..............The Cost.........$271.00!!!!!! All of this was done after the staff had worked my wife into a cancellation spot for an evaluation on the tooth. After Dr. Sullens took an X-Ray of the tooth and looked over the situation, she told my wife that she had time to take care of it right then, which we never expected. This entire practice is a model for the Dentistry Profession.
