If I could, I’d leave zero stars. The owner Lee just told my wife to STFU and walked off the job. A little more background: these guys have stolen 9 months of my peace. It’s been constant mistakes but even more frustrating is the fact that they NEVER show up when they say they’re going to. This has set back this job considerably because I’ve had to reschedule trades over and over. The last straw here was that their employees were asked not to park in my wife’s car. For the last 2 days we’ve had to ask them to move their trucks no less than 6 times. Lee, the owner, showed up to go over something and was asked to move his van. He knew about our parking issue. He then became belligerent, told my with “STFU” and walked off the job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The owner Lee told me to “shut the f*** up. I’ll move when I’m ready” this morning before walking off the job site. We have had a mountain of scheduling and communication issues with him from the beginning (for a total of 9 months) but this particular break down was the final straw for his ego. For the last two weeks I have had to tell his crew to move their cars off my driveway upwards of 6 times in a day. I have multiple appointments every day (three homeschooled children, two are autistic, a family member with Alzheimer’s and I myself am pregnant) and even when told they can’t leave their cars on the top driveway (that’s right- we have two!) I had to ask them to move every time I need to leave and every time I return home. This morning when I stopped being a quiet little woman and told them that this was continually unacceptable Lee decided he would not be “disrespected” by being told to move. They obviously weren’t moving any tools- they were working on the project and he seemed to think his car was an exception. I didn’t care whose car it is, I need to leave in 10 minutes and they’re still not allowed to park there. And that was just this mornings problem. They have had scheduling problem after scheduling problem- they really need to hire someone to manage their office because Lee really doesn’t know what he’s doing. He and his crew have never once shown up when they say they would and have put multiple projects and other contractors on hold repeatedly due to his personal time management problems. Over promises and under delivers. We have already paid in full for one project that was not completed to any decent standards. Items they messed up: shotty work over the kitchen counter, doors that are misaligned and stuck, touch up paint with the gloss trim paint instead of the wall paint, and these are just the obvious problems. Overall we have tried to work with them for two projects, one to renovate our basement and another to rebuild a deck and they have been unable to complete either in the last 9 months. I would never recommend working with them for any reason- especially if you are a woman. He never once spoke to my husband the way he did to me today- in fact this was the first time I’ve ever spoken to him at all. So know that if you invite him or his staff into your home, you may not feel safe. There are plenty of female and q**** owned alternatives in this town. Don’t hire a disorganized, late, lying misogynist.

Lee Redmon and assistant Keith C. have helped us since June 2011. At that time they renovated front/side of house: new windows, siding, paint and installed new deck (replacement). All work then and now has been excellent and professional. Trustyworthy.

Larry provided suggestions, came when he said he would, cleaned up, came back for follow up, and he answered questions to help us find the particuliar lighting that we needed. He returned to fix a problem that came up after he left, and he offered to return if needed.
