They are certified mechanics. It's anything but a shade tree kind of operation. They are reasonable, I found them to be honest, accommodating, quick and good service, and all those good things. I would recommend anybody to them. They are reputable. With regards to price, I'm not that familiar with the market place. I found them to be well in line.

They were fabulous. I was about to go on a long road trip and just wanted to have everything checked out. I had no specific concerns. Doing this at the dealer would have been considered one of those horribly expensive services...at Mike's they got me in within a couple of days, were very thorough, and were able to tell me what was good, what needed doing, and what could wait...all at an affordable price! I would definitely go back again. It was nice to find a place that didn't try to push services...that knows that a lasting customer will eventually need the services!

Going up the driveway (about a 20 degree angle) the car suddenly stopped. I got it up and onto the road for the tow. Though we've been in town for 6 years, and used other mechanics in the past, I decided to check out what Angie's List was offering. Called and first impression was they were available and understood that the car was old and that we're at the point that we can only keep putting just so much more money into it. Very agreeable and personable. Didn't have to wait on hold, and I felt he wanted my business.

When we arrived, we checked in quickly and we were advised they'd get to it as soon as they could. About 2 hours went by and I called to just see if we knew anything. He said he was just getting ready to call me: Turned out they were ordering the alternator. I would have liked to discuss the cost prior, however, as we are at the point where we don't want to keep throwing money at the car; but it was a tow and I did indicate we weren't in the position to be out trying to buy a car that day, so all in all, turned out that everything went okay and the price wasn't too bad.

Considering it was an emergency, a tow, we arrived about 10:30a and were on our way at 4:30p, I was very impressed. I've waited that long to get a call back to find out what's wrong with my car at other mechanics and that was with an appointment!

I'm hoping we've found a new "go to" mechanic in town , just 2 miles from the house. And,I'll be sure and be clear about getting estimates and whether to proceed in the future.

Very satisfied. I appreciate that they called before doing the work with a list of problems that needed attention. They fixed everything that needed repair, and I got my vvan back the next day. All the techs were friendly, educated, and professional. I feel confident they did everything right. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else for service.

It went well. The technician noticed a nail in one of my tires and fixed it without charge. I was impressed.

They were more than willing to help me out and even gave me a ride back to my office since I was able to restart my car and get it to them, which is a service they don't typically offer. They were more than willing to help. The only thing that didn't go as I expected was that I didn't get a call when it was done - I called the next day to check and it was ready but no one had called yet. Not a big deal but that's why I gave a "B" for responsiveness. They only fixed what was needed and didn't suggest unnecessary repairs.

I think that is good reliable work, and it is done promptly. I have been going to Mike's Auto Service for at least 5 years. I think that I can really trust him.

Mike's has serviced several vehicles for my family. I started going to them about three years ago. They do good work at a fair price.
