I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks but it ended up taking 14 weeks. They left garbage all over and every weekend I spent my weekend cleaning up after them. I had to rent a tractor to get my yard back into shape they made the mess but I had to clean it up. The builder told me that his then partner had a license, as it turned out he lied; neither had a license. The decks were rebuilt poorly, I have gone back and replaced boards and rebuilt the basement door to what I originally ask for. He charged me for "a special water proof membrane that he had to order" it was shower pan liner from Lowe's. Also his men drew primitive art work on the lumber (some pornographic), and for the most part they stood around since they had no supervision, all were unskilled labors. Then to top it all off he sent me a change order for over $3000.00. I disputed it and paid $275 and change. None of the changes he submitted in the change order were authorized except one, none in writing.
