⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience with Load Bearing Builders – Asheville, NC I originally hired Jim Lord and his crew to build a massive deck at my home near Asheville, and from the very first day on the job, I knew I had found someone special. Jim runs his own business, and you can immediately tell he takes real pride in his work. The quality, precision, and craftsmanship that went into that deck were beyond anything I expected — it wasn’t just well-built, it was artfully done. But what really impressed me was Jim’s knowledge and the professionalism of his entire crew. Every single person on his team showed up on time, worked hard, and treated my property with respect. Their attention to detail and ability to solve problems on the spot gave me total confidence in their abilities. In fact, I was so impressed that what started as a deck project quickly turned into something much bigger — I ended up hiring Jim and his team to remodel my entire house! I couldn’t be happier with the work.

This company did great work for me. We needed a near complete replacement this summer for our 44' back deck w a ramp and LBB did very nice work. Ot was quick but done the right way. Price was fair and worth the results. I would hire them again in no time! They also did a job for a friend of mine that turned out well.

Jim and his team were Awesome ! They fully framed my new home to fully dried in. Framing, windows, doors, decks, changes etc. Jim and crew also sided and trimmed out the outside. Jim responded quickly as well to all phone call and texts in this world that doesn't do that so well it seems. Professional, communicative, fair, and helped me in developing and executing the home i wanted with attention to detail and suggestions on better ways. I recommend them to anyone !!!!

Jim and the crew were amazing to work with. Very talented, stayed on top of the work, and were able to come out very quickly. Super reasonable and talked me through every step of the way. I would absolutely hire them again!

Jim and Isaac are perfectionists in their work. We gave them some very difficult ceiling angles in the crown molding installation, but they figured them out, set in the finish nails and speckled the holes. We are very pleased with the finished job.

Jim was fantastic to work with! He showed up when he said he would and communicated when he could not. The work on my deck far exceeded my expectations - he even thought of things I did not! (that is saying a lot coming from the daughter of an engineer) In fact, the reason I chose him is he really paid attention to the detail of the job and made suggestions to help improve the visual and physical design of the deck.

We really searched for the right fit to make our dream deck a reality and Load-Bearing Builders LLC far surpassed our expectations and did an amazing job on our deck. They worked tirelessly with us on designing the layout while also keeping the project cost efficient and affordable.
