John McClung roofing company got to my house at 7am and didn't leave until 9pm. They worked very hard all day! The roofing job looks incredible. I am very pleased and highly recommend this company to do your roof. Weathered Wood is the color of shingles on my roof:).

The office was professional and worked with me when I had to postpone the date of the work. They were cheerful, helpful, and did not give me the lest impression that I had inconvenienced them. John McClung is an exceptional business person. He is determined to provide excellent service at a reasonable price. He truly cares about doing his best for the customer. I had asked for addresses of work he had done in my area. One gentleman was in his yard when I stopped to look. He said there had been an unforeseen problem months after his work was done. He contacted John, who immediately came out and had the work corrected. This gave me the assurance that should an unlikely problem occur, there would be no hassle in having it immediately addressed. Workmen arrived on time, worked hard, and totally cleaned up, after completing the roof replacement in one long day. I am greatly satisfied with my experience with John, his office staff and his workmen.

Pre-Review Statement: Although the owner of this company and I share the same surname, we are not family and had not met before John McClung came to my home to provide a work estimate. I was looking at local roofing company listings and figured, with a name like McClung, he had to be a good guy and do quality work. FYI, I was correct on both counts. Read on. John came to our house, brought some shingle samples and brochure and discussed various options. He also did a temporary roof repair, at no cost and no obligation. After looking at the brochure photos, we had decided which type/quality of shingles we wanted, but we still weren't sure about which color to get. John made a second trip here the next day, to bring some large size shingle samples. He climbed up on the roof and laid them out, so we could see what they would actually look like in place. John also provided a completed cost estimate for the work, based on satellite images of our house. Very high tech and cool! After signing a commitment for the project, we had to wait a few days before the work could begin, due to continuous heavy rain in our area. That wasn't a problem, as the temporary emergency repair John had done held, with no leaks. When weather conditions finally improved, John's crew arrived at our house around 6:30 a.m., began work and the new roof was completed around 5:30 p.m., including a very thorough clean-up. That was amazing to me, as they had to disassemble and reinstall Gutter Guard unites all around the house and work around two Solatube light tunnels installed on the roof. Bottom Line: The crew was amazingly professional and efficient. They obviously took pride in their work and the new roof is beautiful (some photos are attached). If you need any type of roofing work, I HIGHLY recommend John McClung Roofing.

They did amazing. Tina worked with me one on one to arrange the most convenient date for everyone. Frank came and oversaw everything going on. The crew arrived on the dot of 6:30am and got right to work. It was like a ballet with everyone perfectly choreographed. They were done with the entire roof by lunch and left everything immaculate! I would absolutely recommend them.

After searching for a contractor to do the work, used McClung based on online reviews. I contacted them and scheduled an estimate. I then hired to do the work and it was completed as expected. Communication was good throughout, as was the billing and invoice process. I would definitely use again.

We were very pleased with the job and the professionalism shown from start to finish. Very courteous office staff who kept us informed from the details of the estimate appointment, helped with the paper work and kept us informed abou the start date, and the crew chief Brandon informed us of the job status the entire time. The job was started before expected, and finished on time, and within the budget, with a very nice discount for having used Angie's list. We highly recommend John McClung Roofing and will use them again if we ever need roof repair.

John Mc Clung Roofing made appt. to look at roof shortly after my call, showed up on time ( Derek ) and evaluated issue and handed me a quote. Price was very fair and was able to get work done within a week. Can not feel any better about doing business with a company.

We were scheduled for Friday but no one showed up. Called and was told we were scheduled for next Wednesday. I had already taken 2 days off from work because I work nights and figured I would not be able to sleep. So lost 2 days pay. The next Wednesday no one showed up. Called again and was told we had someone cancel this morning so we can start your roof. So I assume we were not on the schedule and had I not called no one would have shown up. After they finished with the roof they told us they had wanded the driveway with a magnetic wand where the parked their trailer to pick up any loose nails. After they left we proceded to find roughly 200 nails and screws in our driveway. Fortunately we have had no flat tires as of yet. I think we got them all. The positive was the roof was done in a timely manner , it looks good and the price was good. Thr crew were all professional. Everyone I dealt with was nice and very professional. They do need to work on their communication and scheduling process as well as theur cleanup process. Overall we were happy with the company.

There is NO excuse for poor cleanup and it will be addressed promptly with the crew. As for communication, I will need to do some investigating on where the breakdown happened. The records in the office show a promise start date window of the 19th-23rd and while we had some rain during that window, I'm not sure if that was the reason for the delay or not. Either way, someone should have communicated better with you about the schedule. This issue will also be addressed! We can not improve unless customers like you share your experience... so thank you for reviewing us even though it was not our most shining moment!"

The job went very well. These are some hard working guys and their craftsmanship shows. While the chimney cap and siding repair was a little overpriced, the job as a whole was competitively priced. While the daily cleanup could use a little improvement, the end of job cleanup was very good. The roof looks great and my neighbors have given complements.

McClung roofing was prompt, gave a complete quote and showed up on time. They weren't the highest quote, nor the lowest. We chose this company because of their estimate details...while gathering quotes from different companies, some roofers actually gave quotes on the back of a business card, John McClung was different and was the only roofer to provide a professional estimate in clear language. The roof is new and beautiful and they left my yard clean and tidy. I would most definitely recommend this company to all.

Very well. I was short on time and was scheduled to have work done within the time frame I needed. The worker kept in touch with me as to any delays from another job he was working on. He was professional, cleaned up all debris. I would hire this company again for other roofing repairs.
