While the Allstate claim was to replace the door, this body shop kept my car for two weeks and did not call to keep me "in the loop." I always had to call them regarding the progress of the work being done.
On at leas two occassions, I called to ask them to check under the car, as I had hear a noise like something dragging. Allstate assurred me they would cover the extended cost. When I went to pick up the car, I inquired about the noise under the car. I was told there was a "piece of wood" I must have picked up, and it had been removed. Three minutes on the highway, the noise was back. I returned to the provider and showed them what was happening (yes, it took me THREE minutes to find). The manager involved took off in my car and said he would take care of it. No one could find him for a while; however, when he returned, the problem was still very visible. I was told the insurance had not included it in the original claim.
The day before I had a three-way conversation with Allstate, the provider, and myself. Again I asked about the noise. The Allstate provider any I were treated rudely and I the conversation ended with both of us not knowing what to expect next.
Again, they had my car for two weeks. They never called until the day it was to be picked up. The lied about a fax sent to Allstate. And they did not check on a problem I had inquired about three times.
They were rude, slow, and did not return phone messages.
I encourage anyone who DOES choose to use their service to stay on top of them every day and to make sure your insurance company maintains communication on an ongoing basis. I will never return to them and will spread my experience to others.
Raised voices on their part only added fuel to the fire.

"In response to the review posted we would like to elaborate on the process. Although we prefer to not engage in verbal disputes of this kind we feel it’s necessary to state some facts. The Insurance company is the one paying for the repairs and dictates the repair process, labor times and parts used (which sometimes takes longer to locate used or like quality parts). In this case a right side door. However, it appears the customer has run over something or possibly hit a concrete parking curbs causing damage to the splash shields under the front bumper that were missing and damaged. We attempted to accommodate and provide a temporary repair at no charge to the owner. Her insurance company was contacted and they stated “we do not cover previous damage, or damage unrelated to the present claim/loss”."

Collision repair is essentially a project that can be broken into 3 components: repair, budget, timeline. I'll address them separately.
From the looks, they performed a quality repair. The paint matches, etc. I can't tell my car was ever hit, and that is the goal. It will take time to know if it was a high quality repair, but I have no reason to believe it isn't.
Budget is driven by the insurance company. There were no unexpected charges.
Managing timeline was a problem. They had my car for 2 weeks. Not all of that is their fault. The insurance appraiser didn't provide an appraisal for 2 days. After that, things should have gone quickly. But they didn't and it was always difficult to get info. It was definitely a situation of pulling information, not receiving information pushes. I had to call frequently to find out what was going on, what the delays were, etc. Sometimes my calls weren't returned. That's just not good customer service.
I was told that the car might be ready last Friday. On Friday, I didn't hear from them. I called and left a message. Call wasn't returned.
On Monday I called, I was told it might be ready Tuesday. Didn't seem to be a good reason for further delay.
I called the collision center manager, Frank Leccesse, to express my concerns over what seemed to be unwarranted delay. No answer, left a message requesting a call back. Never got a call back.
So, it may be that they do go body work. Time will tell. But the time it takes and the customer interface needs some work.

Went to the shop to obtain an estimate; we were ignored by the service
manager. Another individual asked what we were waiting for and, when
told, said someone would be with us shortly. Twenty minutes later we
were still ignored and not spoken to again.

They did a very good job on his vehicle. I think my husband was very pleased. Someone had actually backed into him on the driver's side door. He was so pleased with the repair and repainting that had to be done that he asked if they could do his whole truck. They said no and just did the repair. My husband thought that the price was reasonable. My husband would use them again in the future.

I was upset with them because instead of changing the parts, they replaced the whole console. They charged $200 to do that. I wasn't pleased about that, and I thought that was way over the top. They are a little pricey and probably can do better. The quality of work was good. The responsiveness is good. They called me yesterday and let me know the part was here. They are really good about taking me in when I have an appointment.
