Harrington Electric Inc

When I called to get an estimate, Rick Harrington told me what we were doing wrong. He also said it is explained on their website. Our breakers were not bad and we were not charged for the advice. Will definitely call him if we have another electrical problem.

I had a 30 year old bathroom fan removed and a newer model installed, and Harrington Electric did a fantastic job! They were professional, efficient, and the owner Rick communicated on the status often. I highly recommend this company.

Work always went well. Price was more than fair and servicemen were both friendly and professional. Because of their consistent friendliness, competence, punctuality and reliability, I would never go anywhere else. I have found these rare attributes to be like quite a few enterprises in other fields of work in this smaller city, really refreshing!

Just fine as always. Used them for almost 2 decades and never a problem. Greatly appreciate it when they say that they cannot do a job immediately and help me find someone else, although I would almost always prefer to wait if there were no emergency. Cannot give a $$ amount because their service extended for so many years.

Everything went great, the quality of the work was excellent. Fair estimates and completed as promised. Bonus: easy online bill pay!

Mike and Gus were the two employees who arrived BEFORE scheduled time (awesome). They surveyed the job and then went to work. They took about 50 minutes and it looks GREAT

Rick was able to give an estimate over the phone for the basic work. The faulty breaker was discovered by the electricians at the job site.
Mauricio & Marcelo arrived on time and ready to work. After explaining what needed to be done, they presented us with options for outlet placement, colors, and identified some possible issues. They got right to work and didn't stop until they were done. Upon finding the faulty (burned) 2 pole breaker, they quickly identified a replacement and retrieved it. They were back within the hour and completed the job. In all the job took approximately 5 hours.
The electricians were professional, respectful, and left the site cleaner than when they arrived. The price was more than fair for the amount of work done and from the very first phone call to Harrington Electric, you could tell it was a customer focused, professionally run company. Highly recommend!  Great job Rick, Mauricio, & Marcelo.

On time, very polite, quick to get to work, well done and clean.  Overcame a challenging physical situation where the fan was to go.
Installed fan and when done, fan motor was faulty.
He took the unit back down so I could return it, repacked it perfectly, and arranged to have a separate invoice sent to my email (right away) so I could return the fan and get them to pay for his wasted time.

Had them come back and finish the installation of the replacement fan, it went very smoothly.

Will definitely be using them again.

They troubleshooted my outlets over the phone and then sent technicians to work on my light switches. They were very punctual, professional,and repaired the problem quickly. I highly recommend Harrington electric. We will be using them from now on.

The entire organization is very friendly, well organized, efficient, high quality work, high quality material was always used. The same crew that started installation last year continued and finished the job this year and they remembered what to do and even made a couple of changes too. Harrington Electric is the BEST electric company in western N. Carolina.

The work was excellent. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and left the place better than I looked when I got there. The electricians were very good. They were very polite and very friendly. Responsiveness was an A+.

I have used Harrington Electric in the past so they were my first option when I needed work done on a rental unit.  They scheduled a service call for 0800 the following Thursday and called the day before to confirm.  The electrician arrived on time and went immediately to work.  They installed a new exhaust vent fan and light (I provided the vent fan/light), including attaching the metal flex duct to the gable.  They cleaned up their mess afterward.  I will continue to use Harrington Electric and I highly recommend them for all your household electrical service needs.  As always, a big thank-you to RIck!!

After contacting two local electricians with no response for weeks, I joined Angie's List and found Harrington Electric.  We are sure glad we did!  I called before office hours, left a message and within an hour received a call from their office manager.  We emailed our specs and had an estimate from Rick Harrington that afternoon.  They began work a few days after the estimate arriving right on time.  Mauricio and Marcelo were the electricians who worked on the shed with Rick staying in contact with us and his crew.  The job was done extremely well and we now have a warm, lighted shed for my husband.  Harrington was efficient, professional, friendly and did such a good job that we are going to call them for some outdoor lighting projects next.  We highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.
