Energy smith, 5 stars, Mike was able to get me a rebate from duke electric , only one that wanted to do r49 instead of r 38 and charges same price as other guys, very knowledgeable , quick and bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of.

Purchased a 1978 ranch house the attic was filled with very depleted and soiled mix of insulation materials and rodent debris. Mike, Regina, Brian, Tim and Scott - the whole NC EnergeySmith Team - arrived and were prepared to make a change. Mike made runs to the landfill keeping things running smoothly. Regina took care of keeping the insulation debris team nourished, healthy and safe. Brian, Scott and Tim stayed true to the mission. Sadly part of my attic has only enough room for one to belly crawl through. I know, I ran wires up through there and I only weigh 125 lbs: it was tough for me . Yet, Brian made his way through and didn’t let the confining space stop him from ensuring that area was cared for. Three days later my attic was truly transformed. The attic is clean, sealed, lights fixtures appropriately covered, walk boards secured, fluffy white insulation blown in and my exterior property left immaculate. The kind, professional, traits and actions of this Team brought forth a huge peace of mind. There are no words to express the true gratitude felt.

I was impressed with this group and Mike Fowler who came out and assessed the situation. They seem very good , responsive, and the job was done quickly. I would recommend them . The true test, however, will be this winter when I see if my heating bill is substantially lowered.

My attic had old dirty insulation dating back to 1982. Mike and crew removed the old insulation, sealed the gaps, insulated the 5 skylights, and blew in new insulation. The basement ceiling insulation was repined, making the basement look much better even with the old insulation. They did a fabulous job and I am 100% plus pleased with the results, Would recommend highly to anyone needing any kind of insulation work. Mike also did extra things not really in the job description but were needed before the insulation was blown in at not cost to me. Good communicator, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great Job!!

The estimate was done and explained in detail. I requested & was given a written estimate. They called two days prior to confirm the day & time. The work crew called ahead of time to say when they would arrive. The work itself was done thoroughly, quickly & professionally. The technician was professional. The company changed the appointment time without notifying me. I wanted to have a new cover placed on the vent. The technician stated that the company would call me to set a date and I never received a call. Also, the technician came without a vacuum and he tried to clean up by hand which really was an incomplete job. He did apologize.

They arrived on time and were very courteous. Came back a second time to answer questions and do a section in the basement that they missed. I was hoping to see a reduction in energy used. But this winter has been much milder than last winter so it is hard to compare energy usage for heating. Subjectively I think it helped but cannot prove it.

Very well. They were prompt, courteous, very thorough at explaining what we needed. Their machine was able to show us the uninsulated spots in the house (which was practically all of the house). They worked hard and quickly. We do recommend them to anyone needing insulation and would definitely use them again. Good guys.

So happy I had Mike come out and take a look at things. Turned out that my upstairs was mostly uninsulated. Only the part inspector could see was insulated. Mike and crew built ladder in 2 areas and found these areas had 0 insulation. Hard to believe the house got a C.O. He took lots of pictures for me to have for future reference. I found Mike very knowledgeable and also very easy to work with.
