David Dennie Construction Company, Inc.

This is a unsolicited contribution I decided to provide because the builder of our house did such an outstanding job that I want to share our experience in hope that members of Angie's list will  avoid the initial disappointments and considerable financial losses we incurred prior to meeting David Dennie, owner of David Denny Construction Company who built our house.
After  the problems we had with two builders and one architect I very thoroughly interviewed ten persons whose houses David built and inspected with my wife several houses he built in the Asheville area.
David has a vast theoretical and practical knowledge and experience and  for seventeen years worked as a NC building inspector. I am a person rather difficult to please, but working with David was a pleasure. I can even say that he  is one of the most personable,  and honest individuals I have met in my life. 
Building our house he provided us with a number of valuable extras while staying  within the budget though during the construction we also made  last minute changes which he incorporated after discussing with us  all aspects and providing alternatives pertaining to  cost, appearance and structural considerations.

P.S. People complain when unhappy,  so did I a number of times. But when  praise is  so much in order as in the above mentioned case I feel it would be selfish not to share with others our positive experience.
