Description of Work: These guys are fantastic! I was having transmission problems in my work vehicle. I have to have this vehicle and would have paid any fee. They charged a minimum amount and got me back on the road pronto! Can't say enough good things about them. Would recommend them to my mother-in-law.

 + -1 moreThere is really nothing else to say except that Cox Auto is excellent. We have recommended Cox Auto to friends who have also been very pleased with the work there. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about Cox Auto !
Description of Work: We have been taking our family cars to Cox for quite a few years. They are good, trustworthy, and more than competent. My car is really old, but I think it is lasting so long because Cox takes such good care of it. A lot of times they could have said something was wrong, and I would not have known the difference because I don't know anything about cars. They are totally honest and hardworking. I wish everyone I do business with could be as good as Cox Auto Service is.

 + -1 moreI work and only have one week day off. He worked with me to schedule my appointment on my next day off. I had made a list of services to be performed and we determined it would take one day to complete the tasks. I dropped my car off at 8:00 am and the work was completed by 4:00 pm. He called me at 9:00 am and gave me an estimate of cost before performing the services. The actual cost was $20 more than his estimate. I was pleased with the work. My car was returned to me in very neat condition.

 + 0 moreMy entire family has been taking our cars to Cox Auto Service for the past 20 years. The mechanics are top-notch and talk to you like a human being even though you may not be an expert. They certainly are! Their prices are very fair and they will get repairs completed within a reasonable amount of time to do the job right. They don't cut corners and will tell you if you don't really need to fix something right away, which is nice. This shows they don't want to nickel and dime you but would rather keep you as a long-term satisfied customer.
Description of Work: When we were buying a used car in 2010 we brought one we were test-driving to Cox Auto Service to be checked out. The mechanics put it up on the lift, looked it over and immediately noticed a hair-thin line of overlapping paint around the bottom of the body of the car that indicated it had been repainted after a significant collision. We were very impressed because the collision never showed up on the "CarFax"report for that vehicle. We immediately returned that car and ended up purchasing another that did receive the approval of the mechanics. We certainly would never have noticed the paint line had we not taken the car to Cox Auto Service. They didn't even charge us for the inspection!
