The vets are great! The people at the front of the desk are sometimes a little clueless. If you ask them questions like, for example, "Is this the only hypo-allergenic food you have available for canines?" they didn't know the answer to that question so they had to go back and ask the vets. The people up front are really just reception.

By far, the best in town. I have been a client for almost 10 years. Docs and staff alike are consummate professionals - smart, caring, sensitive and responsive.

Our vet at Charlotte Street Animal Hospital is wonderful. She's right down on the floor with the animals all the time. It just makes you feel really confident in her ability. She's very knowledgeable and a very caring individual. That's important. The facility is nice. It's always clean. They have separate areas for dogs and for cats. There's even been a few birds in there at time. There's several vets there but there's one main veterinarian that owns the clinic. He does all the major surgeries. He's been there a long time and he's experienced.

We noticed our dog had started to have accidents in the house over the weekend and called Monday to see about an appointment. They were able to get us in that sme evening. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, Dr. Amber took several tests and concluded she had a uti (along with some other issues) she recommended a course of treatment and was very clear in explaining the problem as well as causes and cures and things to watch out for in the future. Recieved a follow up call the next day to check on our dog and have scheduled a follow up visit to retest and make sure the infection is completely gone.
I love these folks. You can tell there's not an animal out there they wouldn't give 100% to. All I can say is great experience, I will go back and I will gladly refer.
Thanks to all the staff at Charlotte St. Animal Hosp.!!!

After finding a stray puppy yesterday we quickly realized that he was blind and would need a lot of extra attention. Being new to town, we had not yet found a veterinarian for our other dogs but pass Charlotte St. Animal Hospital every day on the way to work. I had heard good things about the care they provide but had no idea what an understatement all of the praise had been. Everyone we encountered was extremely nice and helpful and seemed to truly care about our little guy. Our veterinarian, Dr. Husted, was incredibly knowledgeable, giving great advice, a thorough initial exam, and even called in another vet to help fully diagnose Max's visual deficits. Before leaving, Dr. Husted came out and said she had done some research and shared additional information on our dog's condition and gave resources to assist with training and education. We were very impressed with everyone and the care they provided and plan to take our other dogs there for their next visit.

I loved Dr's Amber and Jennifer. I was surprised at the cost, as it was higher from where I had just moved from in Texas, but
Charlotte Street Animal Hospital is a wonderful place and I will be going back. They were very compassionate with my boys.

The office staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help you. The doctor remembers your pet; she knows them and she takes great interest in them. You even get a call back to make sure everything is okay. They are good; they will squeeze you in if necessary and it is a great place. You know that your animal is going to be taken care of and I will use them again in the future.

Charlotte Street Animal Hospital was so important to my dog's life. They were always professional and courteous. Doctors Amber and Husted were the two we saw most often. The veterinarians would consult each other to ensure they were performing the proper treatment and they always discussed and made clear all options. After each visit either the Vet or a technician would call to make sure Nancy was doing well. I always felt like they really cared for my pet. The staff came to know both of us. Finally at the age of 17 my friend could no longer continue. Suffering from seizures and a brain tumor Nancy had to be put down. This was by far the hardest thing I've ever done. The doctors and staff helped us through the entire process and made it as comfortable as possible. I can't thank Charlotte Street Animal Hospital enough.

They spend enough time with us and answer our questions. They don’t rush us. I pretty much have positive things to say about them.

I switched to Charlotte Street after going to another vet for over a year and they were not able to provide answers or treatment for my older dog with allergies. The first thing Dr. Knepshield advised was to get a blood test (never suggested before) and it turned out that she had a thyroid problem. An inexpensive pill did the trick! She continues to do well, although an 11 year old dog has many problems but I am very happy with the office. I also have 2 other dogs and have switched them over as well. My 10 year old also has "issues" which we are currently exploring. I like that when a test is suggested, a cost estimate is given right away, before you have to ask. This allows you to make a decision as to how to proceed. Dr. Knepshield gave us many options to explore.

The veterinarians at Charlotte Street are clearly animal lovers. They are thorough, kind, and take extra time just to play with the animals. I have seen many veterinarians and the ones at Charlotte Street are some of the most knowledgeable and kindest I've met.

I switched to this vet's office as a result of seeking a second opinion regarding an issue with my dog's rear leg. The first vet, with whom we had been for two years, sent me to a veterinary surgeon who recommended a highly invasive, new surgical procedure after which my active dog would have needed to be confined for 8 wks., and for which I would pay $2,000, with no guarantee of the success of the surgery. I sought the 2nd opinion from Dr. Jennifer Logan, who recommended another much simpler (and totally cheap) treatment, and my dog has responded beautifully. That was about 3 yrs. ago. My dog is nine years old, and I find the vets here to be sensitive to the "senior" dog. I look forward to seeing them when I take my dog for his checkup or shots, and feel that they would be there for me in an emergency. There has only been one time when I was unable to get an appt. with Dr. Logan (she was on maternity leave) and my dog and I saw Dr. Bayer. Got the same good vibe from her.
