Excellent they got finished about a week and a half earlier than estimated and done a bang-up job

We used this family operated firm (which has the largest ad listing under Sod & Sodding Services in the yellow pages) last spring to re-sod our lawn. The lawn looks much better this spring than it did before it was re-sodded so the end result was satisfactory.  The installation was done very promptly, but the amount of soil preparation (tilling and additional top soil) was much less than we had been led to expect.  Charlie had also promised to come back and inspect the sod to see how it was doing and roll the sod a week or two later, but no one ever came back to do anything.  Fortunately we had a very rainy period after the sod was installed so the strips of sod that initially weren?t doing as well eventually blended in with the rest of the lawn.  So, based on our experience, the sod installation was efficiently done, but the company was not reliable in term of honoring the soil preparation and follow-up maintenance commitments that were made.
