I have been caring for my Mom for almost 10 years. Having to care for 2 households & 2 properties can be overwhelming at times. Steve Sluder & his crew have been taking care of my Mom's yard for a few years - 2/month grass cutting as well as seasonal fertilizing, trimming,.... & they have made that part of my life easier. I would highly recommend them. I also know I can count on Steve for emergency situations - trees falling & blocking her driveway, snow removal, ... He & his crew are great!

They came every other week during spring/summer.  They were on-time and did exactly what they said they would do -- and did it well.

The lawn service was acceptable. The issues arose with billing. Our monthly bills started fluctuating and we were getting charged for extras and other methods that we didn't agree with. Even after discussing that we didn't agree to these add-ons, we kept getting larger bills with 'Interest', all of which were not previously discussed with us.
We discontinued service with "Buck Tom" over 7 months ago and have had no similiar issues with our new lawn care company.

I've been Buck Tom for about a year now and they've done great work. They were just out last week to put down fertilizer and will start mowing next week.

They were very punctual and did a good job of keeping my yard up all summer and fall.

Was supposed to call ahead to let us know when coming. They did not call. Showed up while we were out of town for the day. Otherwise, I would have stopped them from cutting my leather leaf sedge TO THE GROUND! We were heartsick!. I immediately googled when and how the sedge was to be trimmed (in the Spring mildly take a third off). An ebolia shrub on the side now looks like a bunch of sticks and they trimmed the tops of my azaleas which means no blooms on the top next Spring. Also, my dwarf japanese maple was trimmed. My husband called to complain and asked if Steve (who came out originally) was present when his guys showed and he said no. Additionally, he did not offer to come out and view the damage. I deducted $50 from the bill for the original plants that I had bought several years ago and mailed a copy of when and how to trim the sedge. They were going to take out a tree for us and trim hedges in the back the next day and we cancelled with them. Had we received the call to schedule in the first place, we would have been present and could have stopped them but they clearly DO NOT have the proper knowledge to correctly prune trees and shrubs.

I used Bucktom last year and gave them a B rating because a gate was left open. I continued to use them and hired them back for this year. The gate has never been left open again. They do good work and my yard looks nice. They do extra things like trim the shrubs when I request it. This year I give them an A.

Came to property and did a poor job, charged over $200.00. Never came back. Blamed us for breaking a blade on his mower.
We had idicated where the rocks were and he went over them anyway. Not very pleasant. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Entirely satisfactory. The one-day work was done on time, complete, with no damage to the house or yard.

Buck Tom Services has been maintaining my yard and property since 2011 at an approximate cost of $125.00 biweekly. This summer they also did some tree work for me which cost about $1200.00. They always do an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

I think they are a bit more expensive than others. I would use them again in the future.

They do good work, but the second time they came the gate was left open despite a HUGE sign ON THE GATE that said "KEEP GATE CLOSED__LOOSE DOGS INSIDE." I have valuable show dogs and it would have been disasterous if they got loose. I frequently travel and use housesitters that may not think to check that both gates are closed and secured. The owner of the service apologized and the next week I was home when the service came and I was told the gate had been left open by the Hispanic worker who did not read English. I was going on vacation and felt uneasy enough that I took my puppy with me even though I would have preferred to leave her at home with the housesitter. If the gate is left open again I will get a different lawn service. The gates being kept closed is more important to me than having the grass cut.

I'm very pleased with them. They don't always come when they say. It's not a problem for me as I'm retired but it might be a problem for others. Their quality of work is excellent. I would use them in the future.

Other than loosing two stately trees due to a lightning strike, my experience with Steve and his crew was very good.

They are pretty efficient guys and I like them. Their design was efficient and they had a very efficient installation process. They seemed to know what they were doing. They worked quickly and efficient and it was very nice. The price was okay. The owner's name is Steve Sluder and he is a knowledgeable guy and has been in the business for years. He sometimes gets overwhelmed but you can count on him.

This is the second time I have used them, and they will now come out on a regular basis. They are very professional and get the job done. I have given them a list of items I want done and they work on the list each time they come. I highly recommend them.
