Description of Work: BlackBird framed a poster picture for me. There was not a large value in the print so I was looking to contain the cost of the effort. John worked with me nicely to try to accomplish the best frame for the price I was willing to pay without any judgement of my situation. I really appreciated his willingness to work with all types of customers - not just large ticket or bigger jobs. The date of this service is approximate. I previously wrote a review at the time but may not have done it on Angie's.

 + -1 moreJohn Horrock of BlackBird Frames and Art came to my home to pick up the art and pack it in his van. Three of the paintings were very large requiring help to transport. The largest which is 7 feet tall was framed by a magnificent selection of frames supplied by BlackBird. Being a designer, I am seldom surprised by the outcome but must say the frame was more beautiful than I expected and was just perfect for the art. The other three frames were an even more difficult job for John at BlackBird. He took 100 year old, highly carved frames that I supplied and then cut them to fit a new size. The new mitered corners were perfect with no detection of being resized with all carvings matching. I would recommend BlackBird for any size job. I will certainly use BlackBird for ALL my framing needs.
Description of Work: I am a collector of Old Master paintings, some of great value. I had 4 quite large paintings that needed new frames.
