Bruce and his team are awesome! They have moved us four times and each time they were punctual, worked very hard, thought of the little things and took extra care with our stuff. They are reasonable and really work quickly. Being paid by the hour, that says a lot.
After four moves we not only consider them excellent people to give our business to, but friends.
They moved things around until I was sure that was where I wanted it. They were so professional and very fun to work with.
I would highly recommend them . They will provide you a stressfree moving day.

I called Monday at 2:00 PM and was told they could pick up the sofa at 4:00 PM the same day! As promised, I received a text at 4:00 that the sofa had just been picked up, there would be a slight delay in delivery and it was delivered at the time promised.
Everything went smoothly and was completed quickly. The guys are professional and even moved a heavy table onto a rug for me.
I will definitely use this company when I move to a new house later this year.
Clete and Tommy arrived on schedule (halfway up a mountain on gravel roads), and checked with me every step of the way to make certain that I was comfortable with their handling of the printer -- a two-hundred pound monstrosity. They also loaded for me -- without hesitation -- a few add-on items.
It turns out that they had recently moved one of my neighbors, so they knew exactly where the destination home was, and went directly there after loading. Their biggest challenge was keeping the printer level while carrying it up what amounted to two full flights of steps, one outdoors and one indoors. They navigated through the narrow passageway, working among turns, corners, light fixtures, and railings.
Bottom line: I'm up and running again after my having procrastinated this move for many months. They made it seem easy! It wasn't -- they're just great at what they do!
I would recommend Asheville Moving Co. for any move, I and will be calling them again when I'm ready to move on.
When my husband's mother gave us a priceless family china cabinet, we knew we did not want to try moving it ourselves. I called several moving companies, but because it was summer (their busiest season), we could not find anyone who would take this small job for less than $300.00. We had almost resigned to renting a U-Haul ourselves, when I decided to try one more company ... Local Guys Moving.
Bruce indicated he was also slammed, but that he would be happy to work us in one evening after all his other jobs were done for the small fee of $125.00. We were elated. My husband was leaving the country for a few weeks, but Bruce and I agreed to connect when my husband returned.
Upon returning from Scotland, I suggested to my husband that he should call Bruce and set up the particulars. What transpired next, however, could be described as a comedy of errors. Bruce was never given our contact information, while I waited patiently for "The Local Guys" to show at our house, believing that my husband had provided them with all the necessaries regarding directions and phone numbers.
When I realized what had happened, I contacted Bruce myself. Despite not having us on his schedule, he said he could be here in an hour and a half, so I waited once more. Two hours later, I called, only to discover my cell phone had not captured on his. Once again, he'd had no way to contact me. Despite this, he had asked his crew to wait - unbeknownst to him, only 1/4 of a mile from my in-law's house, praying I would call. He finally had to send his weary crew home.
Bruce saved the day, (and possibly my marriage), however. He immediately offered to do the job himself, even though the clock was creeping towards 8 pm. He and two other Knights rode all the way from Waynesville to Fairview - a good 45 minute drive, to make good on their promise. I wish I could say the drama ended here, but it didn't.
We live on the side of a mountain. To my horror, their truck got stuck near the top of our driveway, as it had rained all day. Bruce and his knights had to hand carry this behemoth the rest of the way UP the driveway in the dusky dark. Not once did anyone complain or whine. This 200 year old piece of family history had not the first scratch.
$125.00 does not even come close to paying for the trouble these guys went through. If I ever have moving needs again, I will always use "The Local Guys." In today's world when service seems to be a word of days gone by, The Local Guys set the standard. Truly, they provided the best service I have ever experienced.
