We are extremely happy with all the work done, they did everything on time and on budget. The finished kitchen looks amazing, the bathrooms look exactly like we wanted them to and they all work flawlessly. I didn't want to use this company but was persuaded by my wife, and I am pleased I was over ruled.
Susie knows how to design a kitchen, at times I was skeptical but she was right all along. The only hiccup was that a cabinet arrived and it was the wrong size, but it was dealt with immediately and without any fuss, a true test of a good or bad company. (See update below).
The tiler she uses is a master, we bought a real slate floor and he did it to perfection, Al, the cabinet and countertop fitter did a brilliant job too, he is meticulous in his detail, Ed fitted the bathrooms without fuss and they really do look awesome.
The only downside to Asheville Kitchens and Bathrooms was that they recommended a General Contractor to us who turned out to be dreadful, see separate review.

4/4/14 Update
The cabinet that was replaced was only half replaced, it seems we didn't get made to measure as sold, we got semi made to measure, cabinets that come in 3 inch increments.
The result of this is a cabinet that has different size glass panel to the one directly next to it, it looks stupid, and apparently Omega can't/won't do anything about it. We can put people on the moon but I can't have a made to measure kitchen from Omega. I don't think this is the fault of Asheville Kitchens and Bathrooms but as the company who sold me Omega products it unfortunately reflects on them.
I rarely take no for an answer so I have contacted Omega directly and will update once they respond.

Update 4/13/14
Nothing to report since 4/4, Omega haven't got back to me, and Asheville Kitchens and Bathrooms have not gotten back to me either, apparently they are going to replace the glass but no news as yet.

Update 5/09/14
So Omega CAN make the doors we originally ordered after all, but at this time we are still waiting for the cabinet doors to be fitted, it's been over a month now without doors, starting to lose patience. I would not use Omega in the future because of this. Susie has been very good throughout all this but she is being let down by Omega!

Project duration from 1st contact to final was 2-months. We were out of the kitchen for 1 1/2 months. This fit our schedule. Asheville Kitchens and Baths has been in business for over 20 years. They have tradesmen who've worked with AKB typically 5 yrs or more.

Cabinet removal was orderly, with caution not to damage passages. No dropping, throwing, or crashing hammers. Cabinets donated to local charity.

Their flooring and backsplash team obviously had many years of experience. Demo completed without damage to wooden subfloor and wall surfaces. Trash removal, cleaning, and haul away was great. They prepared and leveled subflooring followed by laying 20 inch tiles with regular cuts and some complex cuts in multi-directions and angles finishing with grout. Excellent work skills, methods, and results.

Selected upper and lower cabinets were delivered within promised time period. Excellent overall quality of side and back walls, supports, doors, drawers and faces, self closing hardware, finishes, and transport containers.

Cabinet installer was and quot;Outstandingand quot;. As a long time cabinet maker, his work was smooth, accurate, and always tentative to protecting surfaces.

Granite supplier located in neighboring community had decades of experience, good selection of slabs, used advanced digital technology to measure and produce template for each section of counter-top. Finished sections delivered within promised timeframe. We rate their business, professionalism, methods, and personnel as Excellent to Outstanding.

Electrician relocated plugs, added new plugs, ran wire in wall for under cabinet lights prior to hanging of cabinets, installed multiple sets of under cabinet LED lights, and obtained city inspections. Our rating is Excellent.

Plumbing locations were not moved. This required only new lines from existing location to new sink drain, faucet set, and dishwasher. Work was completed in good order.

I may have covered that in the above space. But, simply said, these folks are the best Asheville has!

They did very well. We selected the materials in their store. The estimate was right on and they were prompt, professional and courteous. The work was completed within a couple weeks as promised.

Overall, the experience was good. They paid a lot of attention to detail and the quality of the workmanship was good. He definitely came through, did what was promised, and his pricing was fair. Actually, I paid lower than what was quoted. I was very happy with the work.

Everything about them was excellent. Very good personable service.

Very pleased with finished job. Work done professionally and with precision. Subs were pleasant and did excellent work.

I had a different person install them in March 2011. The price was very reasonable and a better quality compared to other local companies. I thought they were really great and I'm very pleased with them. I appreciated the personal attention and time that Susie gave to me when I was cleaning my kitchen. I'm very pleased with the quality and looks of the cabinets. I think their cost was very reasonable.

The job was done well and the work area was cleaned up at the end of each day. I was kept informed of all progress. I was very pleased with the whole process and I love my new bathroom.

We needed new industrial fixtures for our bathroom in our bar. The people here were great, helpful, and took their time with us to make sure we ordered the correct fixtures the first time. I would highly recommend them.

I talked with Susie at Asheville Kitchen and Bath. I told her the measurements and she gave me a quote of $450.00. I am satisfied with the job. Only negative thing is not returning telephone calls and showing up late.
