Eric the Carpenter was prompt, friendly and thorough. He asked questions so he could fully understand the direction of the project. He planned and prepared a list of all the needed materials so he could go to the store once and when the project was done the materials put up on the outside of the house looked sharp and flawless. Everything fit together. He took his time to measure and precisely fit the wood and metal to the outside of the bath window and kitchen French doors so they looked finished and fit with the rest of the tiny house. His work looked as good up close as it looked from a distance. He went the extra mile to make sure my seventy year old crooked house didn't look crooked. I would trust him again with anything in my house that required a skilled eye and trained craftsman. I plan to hire him for the new bathroom door made of wood and glass since he offered a great idea that no one else gave me to maximize my view out the bath window. When I told him I needed help prepping the bath and kitchen for sheet rock and asked him to put a new stud in the bathroom, he explained what else would make the sheet rock look even and stay up forever and then went to work removing door frames and nails that were everywhere and in the way of a future sheetrock. He knows how to come into the middle of a project and connect the past and future work of sub contractors. He takes pride in his works and looks forward to a satisfied customer. He cares about his clients and their needs. I was in a hurry to move back in my house. He fit my project in his schedule on a Sunday morning. In two months I will be able to move back into my house. He was extremely courteous and left the house neat and clean from nails. I just refinished the floors and didn't want nails all over the wood floors. Eric is the type of contractor that you will not have to call back twice to do the job or fix a mistake. You might pay top dollar to Eric but he does it right the first time. He gave me advice about my broken chimney and my deck finish. He knows a house from the inside out. He also knows who stands by their work so you can get his opinion on others involved in your project. He also knows where to purchase items you need and will explain to you why you have to buy a whole roll of some material instead of one strip of it. He keeps the customer close to the project.

I liked how easy they were to communicate with. I could always contact him if I needed to. We actually found wood floors underneath the old flooring that we ended up keeping, which lowered our price. He was very honest and I love the work he did.
