He was totally incompetent . He did not use spacers for the grout and so grout is all uneven and very messy. He worked with helper that have never worked with them before. When I asked to fix what he did he said it's good enough and know it's not perfect and so i told him to fix and come back to finish the kitchen , he never came back to finish it . I never got a call , nothing . Now, I'm having the bathroom tiles torn out and replace by another tile company. So it cost me a thousands of dollars extra because he did not do the job properly. What he said on his profile that guarantees of a quality work and customer relations, is a lie.

Artisan tile and his crew did a great job with our repair. We felt the price was more than fair and have not had any issues since the work was done. Would most definitely use them again in the future.

We received more than one quote for our tile work, and Jon's price was almost equal to the price of another guy. The "other guy" was going to send "some of his guys" to do the work, but Jon was going to do the work himself, with help occasionally. It was more expensive to install our tile because they are granite and have flat edges. This takes more skill to make sure they all lay flat and look right. Jon was very meticulous and made sure the tile was installed properly. He recommended a granite slab for the step into the shower and I wish we had taken his advice on that! He finished the job while we were out of town and I felt comfortable letting him in our house when we weren't there. My only complaints are: he didn't miter the metal tile edges (he would have if I had specified), one day he didn't clean up before leaving, he tried to charge us for a tile blade that is really one of his tools and shouldn't be charged to the customer. We are overall very pleased with his work and would gladly hire him again! (Photo note: Yes, our shower needs to be cleaned, but please look past that and focus on the tile work!)

John showed up when he said he would; cleaned up everyday when he finished. Worked with and around our schedule. We highly recommend him. We had purchased all the materials and John provided the tools and expert labor.

Jon helped us figure out the transition between the art tile and the subway tile (most guys just say "I just do what you tell me to do." This gentleman was able to give a craftsman's opinion.). He was easy to work with and the job came out beautifully. I respect this craftsman.

Recently, Stephane Diaz of Artisan Tiles replaced a few broken tiles in our bathroom.  The work was excellent.  The work was done quickly and efficiently.  Stephane was friendly and courteous, in he's a downright interesting guy.  We would use Artisan's services again.

He did an excellent job. Right away noticed that the tile store had not calculated the right amount of tile. I was able to get some more and a partial sheet that was a sample. He had to fuss to fill the total area with almost no tile left over.  All the cutting was very good and the back splash looks perfect.  He is a good communicator, works very neatly without making a mess where he cuts and where he installs.  He may not be the fastest  worker in the world - but he is very careful and does a great job.

After waiting two years to have the money for a backsplash, we wanted someone who could do the job well. We found Jon on Angie's list and are very pleased with the results. He did great work for us and accommodated both our schedules and our two dogs, Who kept him company while he worked! We recommend Jon without reservation.

Jon was always calm and steady even during the usual remodeling glitches. We plan on using his talents when remodel our worn out hall bath.

Excellent! To save money, I volunteered to buy the tiles at Lowes and John instructed me in what to get. Installation went smoothly and he kept me informed of the bumps he encountered (such as the non-level floor) and how he was going to address it.
The end floor looks beautiful and professional!

Jon has done two tile jobs for me over the years. The first was a small basement tile / glass block job several years back. More recently Jon tiled a shower as a part of a larger remodel.
Jon is the kind of craftsman who takes the time to do a job right. In the case of the shower, the distributor ordered the wrong pan. Jon could have easily replaced the one he ordered for a cheaper pan. I wouldn't have known the difference unless the cheaper pan failed 20 years down the road. Instead he waited until the correct part was in stock so that the end product would last longer.
If you want a rushed job, I'd look elsewhere. If you want someone who will take the time to make sure the final product will last, Jon's your guy.
